Been lurking on this thread waiting to see if others could download yet. I couldn’t even start the download until AFTER I log into this forum. Now I’ve begun the download, it’s going slowly.

If you aren’t able to get past the first kb of it, try logging in here…it brought me a little luck

Its funny you mention that because thats when mine started to (sort of) download.

Good question. I think it’s cause the messed up and couldn’t get the update out when they said they would, but, personally, I couldn’t give a kitten about this Wintersday event. I just wanted to run my dungeons and this has messed that up for me.

LOL my downloading is going absolutely bonkers! It downloads for a bit, then goes into that same error connecting retrying…. then it downloads a bit more… and error connecting retrying… (repeat this process over and over).

It’s not perfect but hey at least it’s downloading!

I dunno. I am having this problem, but it spends much longer on the error than dl’ing. Actually seems to frustrate me more than if it just didn’t work cause it feels like the game is teasing me.

This is a little ridiculous. i get to dl for a couple seconds. Then it goes to the error for a few minutes. Then it goes back to dl’ing for a few seconds and repeats the issue

I am also willing to change servers if that helps. I really just want to find a good group to game with.

I am looking for a good guild on Gate of Madness. Right now my main toon is lvl. 41 Engineer. Looking mostly for PvE and dungeons right now, but eventually want to move into WvW. The last guild I joined was not very active and not at all helpful. Thanks in advance
