It’s impressive how many raiders are complaining. Yes, raiding might take somewhat more organizing, but sPvP and WvW have their own difficulties. And remember, we do not get some shiny animation out of it, so prestige wise our armor will be “less cool” than the raiding legendary armor. The only people who didn’t have to put any time or effort in this are the ones who are lucky enough to have bought the sPvP armor right when it came out or the WvW players who get so many pips that they’re done in two months because they have been playing the game mode for ages – just like those who had the legendary raid armor in no time because they had half the stuff needed already. Also, we are not sure what the gifts will entail, so who knows what kind of time gating or prerequisites are coming towards PvP/WvW players.
And my main game mode is PvE… I still find it fair that both the other game modes get some love (especially WvW!). If you feel cheated out of your shiny armor, go get the new legendary armor for WvW and PvP and then whine, not when we don’t even know what the gifts will be and how hard we’ll have to work for them.

All the trophies? Yeah. As long as you’ve completed Tier 1, all of that can just be sold to a vendor or destroyed.

Everything you make for a legendary or for a precursor is going to be either unbound or account bound on acquire; you can pass all the components to any character. So, just buy the chest and learn the recipes on the correct character.

Awesome, thanks so much for clarifying btw, all that stuff I got with the collection from tier one, can I sell those? They’re crowding my bank quite a lot :c (so far the only usable item I’ve found was the Mini and the lamp thingy for later crafting)

I am crafting Astralaria and had the same problem: my toon consumed the recipe but doesn’t have weaponsmith on 500. Can I buy the Chest of End and get another toon to craft the precursor and give it back to the toon that’s actually going to use the legendary?

I’m not sure if this topic was mentioned somewhere before, but I was wondering about this. I have finished the specializations of four or five characters through EotM and spent A LOT of badges (I was running out there for a second). When I was finishing my last character, suddenly the scroll of heroics for the Hero Points did not cost any badges anymore. While I appreciated that for my last character, has everyone who leveled their characters through WvW/EotM until then and used up many many badges, lost them now? I mean, it feels like I’ve spent a lot of badges for nothing. I’m not such an active buyer, so I recuperated pretty quickly, but isn’t this a bit unfair to those who meant to buy siege and other things and needed the badges?

Please do correct me if I’m wrong, I don’t know if I was an isolated case (since I’m the only one in my group to have leveled like that) or if there was an update and I didn’t notice. I’m just wondering :’D

oh heavens, thank you for this thread. I was looking for nearly done achievements and got to the DS explorer (all done minus those two areas) and was wondering where the heck they could be where I haven’t traveled. At least now I know not to waste my time searching for them until they fix it.
