I don’t agree that crimes are “caused by” the victim in any crime. The criminal causes the crime to happen, the victim is innocent. All victims can do to prevent criminal behavior against them is take steps to prevent becoming victims, but they’re not part of the crime at all.
I agree with you 100%, Its quite annoying when i see ppl on forums telling the victims its entirely their own fault with no mention of the criminal.
I just forwarded all of the guild wars 2 ports on my router still no difference. Port 80, port443, port 6112 and port 6600.

Ok that didn’t make a difference :c , what next? This is strange i bought the game yesterday and it worked fine. Today i turn my pc on and i get this. Im guessing next is opening ports in the router? but which ports?
Im using avast yeah i did try disabling it earlier didn’t make any difference. My isp is virgin media. I couldn’t agree with u more about Nortons av lol. Ill give disabling windows firewall a go then. Don’t know why i didn’t think of that. thanks=]
Hey ppl,
Im having problems logging in, every time i try it says the login server is down or something is wrong with my firewall settings. I just wanna make sure the game isn’t down or something so i can try to fix this. So no one else is having this problem right?
Cheers

If you lack the ability to keep your system secure, then its only a matter of time before you get compromised.
Perhaps you had the same details on a fansite that has been compromised, or you could even have had a keylogger on your system when registering the game. Most keyloggers hide and are not detectable until they are switched on and doing what they do.
Are you referring to me or Karissa?
Oke thanks for the information. I was looking at this:
AMD FX-8150
Asus SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0
Corsair 8 GB DDR3-1600 Kit
Asus GTX680-DC2O-2GD5But since (most people) say its better to get an Intel, I am seriously thinking about dropping the tought about getting an AMD and going to Intel
You should, im not sure abt this but i believe a intel i5 2500k or a 3570k is around the same price as the AMD FX-8150? But if u can and its in your budget definitely go for a i5. It performs much better and for longevity its the best.
oke, I will get an i7 I think then. But in any case, it is NOT my GPU thats holding me back right?
You could get a i5 and still get the same performance while gaming and save your self some money. Id go with a 3570 or 3570k, the only difference is the k overclocks really well. I recently upgraded my pc to a i5 3570k(overclocked to 4.5ghz) and a gtx680. It runs great. Your gpu will be fine for playing at 1920x 1080 resolution with highish settings on most games.
