About Solace Gaming
Solace Gaming is a community that traces it’s establishment back to 2009. Then named Pax Republica, under the leadership of Gaiutus (Arkathos), it was a community that was well respected with 100 members and had a SW:TOR focus. As we prepared for launch, we were featured in Beckett Magazine, Guild Launch Podcasts, Tormonger.com, and Torwars.com interviews. As we waited for release we made our way to many games and found that we ended up seeing our names on the tops of the PvP score boards more often than not. This helped us decide on the path we were to take for SW: TOR, and every other game we played, which was PvP. However as SW: TOR lost our interest and the PvP failed to meet our standards and expectations we split from the SW: TOR group and recreated ourselves as Solace Gaming. Under the continued leadership of Arkathos and his Administrative team, Solace Gaming will continue the tradition of enjoyable and high quality gaming experiences for our members.
Our goals for Guild Wars 2 are no different than our goals for every other game we play together; To have fun and excel in PvP. We strive to have cooperation, success, and enjoyment as a community while gaming as we’ve found that all three of these things lead to great experiences. We aim to contribute a group of friendly and capable players to our Server community and have a lasting, memorable time in Guild Wars 2.
