It had been active for more than a day over in the UK.
Not sure what Time zone you are in, or country.

I’m in the USA, Central time zone. Had to work late, didn’t log on until roughly an hour ago. I expected it to last through this evening. Judging by the time this thread was started, even if I had gotten off work on time, it would have been too late.

Ditto on gone too soon. I wasn’t playing last night (figured the event would be today), got up this morning, saw the airplane mode thing, but had to work late, and by the time I got home from work and logged on, it was gone. I can’t remember for sure, but could’ve sworn April Fools events in GW1 lasting a lot longer. From what I recall, special events in GW1 typically started/ended at midnight Pacific time, the home time zone for ArenaNet. In fact, I just logged into GW1 this very minute and I see that the special Annihilator quests are still active.

So what’s the deal, ArenaNet? Did you get so much negative feedback on airplane mode that you didn’t let it run for the entirety of April 1st in all time zones? Some people have to work for a living, but would still like to enjoy these events. Seriously, please turn it back on for another day, or at least add the option to enable it on a per-account basis so the haters will be happy.
