“We’re very sorry about this and hope that you can continue to experience The Lost Shores and help us retake Lion’s Arch and repel the Karkas!”
Yeah Stephane, that’s the standard reply we are all very familiar with from you guys. Next time you gear up to release a fix or patch or any update whatsoever you should first make a banner out of that reply and splash-screen it over the forums so we don’t waste time pointing out the obvious game-breaking bugs you will no doubt be introducing at those times.

This game will be dead before they get around to what they actually promised us to get us to buy the game. They are too busy throwing everything new and progressive out the window in an effort to quickly WoW it up.

This makes me wonder what the hell all the beta events prior to release were for. This game is still not ready for release and they keep releasing more bugged garbage and expecting us to test it for them. Hey Arena Net, you should give your employees a little notice before you begin layoffs, it’s just the right thing to do and it’s getting close to christmas.

Regarding ascended gear: Anet spent years saying there would be no treadmill and that their game would “break the mold”. During those years we all saw one game after another fail because they were not being innovative and original. It took Anet 3 months to adopt the model of guaranteed failure.
Nobody does gear progression as well as WoW does and what gave GW2 a chance vs. all others is they sold us on the idea that they wouldn’t be copying ideas but creating something we’ve never seen.
We’ve seen this before.
