I think I have the same problem. When I join a fractals group, I can’t join them, I just create my own instance when I enter fractals. I really hate this because people might think I am an lfg troll which I don’t like the idea of.
However, I CAN get into my group’s instance if no one is already inside when I join the group, but even then the ‘join your party in fotm’ looks a bit buggy (it says the fractal scale is 0 whatever level I do).
This isn’t an enormous issue for me, because I can just create my own groups but it is still extremely annoying.
This issue started after LA was rebuilt and way pointing to somewhere else does not fix the issue for me

I think we have the exact same problem!! Is anyone else getting this issue?

james.5087, this happens if you stand next to the portal.

Try waypointing somewhere else in LA and then accept the prompt to join. If you try to do it while in front of the portal to FotM it just creates a separate instance.

I have tried that too. Even tried logging out and re-log back in!

I only use the LFG tool, unless its a guild group, and i am not set to invisible!

Every time I get into a group for fractals, it wont let me join the group. I can stand outside the portal and it will try to get me to enter a separate instance!
Is anyone else having this problem too?

Also, achievements and collections seem to have been reset too!

I logged in today, and did the review of season 1. I was happy that Anet made that, but when i looked at my story journal, I realized that I am now locked out of all season 2!!!! I had them from when they where released, and i am wondering if we are getting them back? It wants me to buy them, but i already had them unlocked! Anet, lets get this fixed ASAP Please, And thanks in advance!

I have been seeing lots of people saying that the Sylvari are now all going to turn into the bad guys, and they are going to destroy everything ETC. Lets take a moment and think about this. Modremoth has already began corrupting the Sylvari, and i personally believe that the Nightmare Court is Mordremoths corruption. And during one of the Sylvari beggening quest, they even have the concept of a second tree! So maybe Mordremoth can sprout these trees up anywhere, and possibly the trees can break free of his grip. The Pale Tree has broken from the grips of Mordremoth, and i think that the Sylvari that have spawned from her may have a resistance to his corruption. We say in a vision that a Sylvari was begging a mob to stop attacking him, which shows that he was able to have cognitive thought! Whats worse is i think the Char will start a small civil war within the Pact. You could see Rytlock had his sword back, but he was declaring all Sylvari enemies!

As a side note i just wanted to thank any Anet people for making such a great story line! And for not making me pay every month! I hear rumors of a expansion, and i think you guys deserve to make one and have a revenue boost! I mean, i have been playing for ever and never bought any Gems, so having to buy a expansion wont make me mad. I might not get it the day it comes out, but i will defiantly get it soon!

The new events need a lot more of player involvement. The mordrem attack all the forts, and they can take them over. As players we have to work with the NPC’s to keep control of them. The NPC’s cant hold the fort by themselves, and will be easily taken over without intervention by players.
I dont know the algorithms of the fort events, but i think they are relatively regular.

I think that when you went into oddmads machine, your character learns about the dragon.
