Guild Wars 2

Honestly anyone wanting to play guild wars 2 and just building or upgrading their computers I highly recommended to go for Intel
Before I was using
AMD fx-6350
GeForce 760
6GB RAM
M5A78L-M motherboard
And even tho it’s a fairly decent build on WvW on big battles my frames would drop to 14 and lower

With this in mind and everyone on the forum saying go Intel
I decided to get the X84-G45 MSI’s gaming motherboard aswell as an Intel I5 4690K my frames are incredibly good with rarely hitting less than 60 wherever in the game .. I know these two cpu’s are in a different league to each other but with AMD’s cores not always being used its evident that for this game you must go for a Intel over AMD

I too.. my lag normally lasts about 15-30 seconds before going back up, I have a pretty decent computer to say the least with a GeForce 760, and fx 6350, 6gb ram, and I struggle so badly on wvw even on low / medium settings I struggle to stay afloat of 30fps how ever a few months ago I would never drop under 30, however on wvw I maintain a 50-70 fps where ever which further makes me wonder if I’m the problem

Hey guys, I’m just wondering because once I use to be able to play 60v60 battles on all high settings a few months back and on the game it’s self when I press auto detect settings everything goes to high settings, yet I struggle to play large WvW games on low/mid settings

Surely this is enough to play mid settings atleast ?
Any way I can check the computer is working at its best?

i have pretty much the same problem, i’ve had it for about a week (or two) now, and wvw is just horrendous to play on, i have a pretty good computer and use to his atleast 30 fps minimum in any situation 60v60+ on all high settings, however now if im in a area with 3v3 my frames crashes from around 50 to 3-13 fps and makes it simply pointless playing, just constant lag and stuttering, i’ve been waiting a while for a reply but they seem to just bi-pass the problem and hope no one complains, are they even trying to fix it? ridiculous.

can anyone offer a explanation? i hit around 55 – 90 frames in WvW but as soon as i’m around any other play i go through sudden frame rates, normally from 65 to 20, a frame rate drop occurs every minute or so and going back up, its incredibly fustrating. is it getting fixed?

before the update i use to get a steady 35+ frames in massive combat on WvW with everything on high settings, however now as soon as i get into medium sized battles about 30 v 30 my frame rate drops horrifically to about 5 becoming horrendously laggy. Aditionally on WvW if im just traveling with hardly any other players near me my frame rate drops for about 20 seconds before going back up i have no idea why this has happened all of a sudden, and cant play WvW anymore… my computer has pretty good specs with;

AMD Fx-6350
6GB RAM
MSI Geforce GTX 760

any reason why my frame’s have dropped so poorly since the update

I’ve had this problem for nearly a week now, tried the usual with firewall, commands, restarting your computer nothing seems to work for it, i’m currently doing a game advisor test now and will upload shortly, is their anything else i could possibly do?

It’s becoming quite a joke now in all fairness, without being able to connect to the game due to this error message. I’ve spent hours doing what people have suggested where non of them have worked, which tells me the problem is on your side, sort it out please.
