I’ve been leveling my Ranger in Kessex Hills and a random person sent me a party invitation. We struck a conversation and it turned out he was a Portuguese-speaking player and his English isn’t the best. In the last hour and a half, we had fun exploring Kessex Hills and Wayfarer Foothills – he even gained three levels! I managed to explain and help him with some things since I know a bit of Portuguese, but I’m not that good at it and I really want to help him out because he seems genuinely nice, but he’s really confused (and a bit overwhelmed) about certain game mechanics that I wasn’t able to explain to him since my knowledge in Portuguese is severely lacking. x)

It would be soooo awesome if a friendly, social and helpful Portuguese-speaking guild could contact him and recruit him. I already told him I’ll help him out with whatever I can, but I do believe that a guild whose members speak Portuguese would be of bigger/faster help than I will be. ^^’
His in-game nickname is Hiitfatal.

Experiencing rapid disconnects. Also, deposited a stack of elder wood logs in the guild bank, but they vanished when I moved them to a slot.
Not sure if it’s related, but the message “Your guild is unifying chapters” appears when I open the guild panel and it’s impossible to retrieve anything from the guild bank, move to another slot or deposit. If you deposit something, it just disappears.

I’ve been doing the Crystal achievement this whole morning, and the same thing happens to me, too. There are several crystal that require Lightning Pull and the vast majority of them either make you fall to your death or force you to run all the way back to the jumping point. Quite annoying.
It doesn’t always happen (sometimes you’ll be lucky and it will port you where you wanted, although rarely), but it’s there and it needs to be fixed.

I’m loving the new faces! I gave my ele a total makeover and the new face really fits. The old faces made him look like he was infected with something like rabies; now he actually looks cool. ^^

The 3rd female face, on the other hand…. I am very sad. Wanted to use that face, but it really just doesn’t fit. The eyes… she looks like some little kid wearing a helmet that’s far too small or something. And that’s cultural gear.

I also had the exact same issue. My Charr mesmer uses the same helmet that actually looked perfect on her older face… After I changed it to the Rox-look-alike face, I was really disappointed. But then I realized – I actually want her face to be visible (the new face is so cute!), so I changed the color scheme, played a bit with the armor pieces, and I’m pretty satisfied with this little kitty.

I’m actually really pleased with the new faces (both Charr and the other races). I do agree that Charr males look more canine, but they really stand out and have a new level of Charr personality that does not necessarily revolve around the stereotypical (and peculiar) jaw anatomy and over-exaggerated fangs (that probably just get in the way instead of help while eating).

I posted a similar question on GW2 Facebook page, but I guess I’ll get a faster response here.
I logged in after I downloaded the new patch and went straight to the gem store to buy a Total Makeover Kit, but for some reason, it’s not listed in the Service category (or in any other gem store category). I bought one yesterday (and consumed it this morning… >>’ ), and it’s not even listed in my recent purchases (instead, there’s a blank white box in it’s place). Can anyone else confirm if they have the same issue (if it’s a bug, they’ll probably sort it out quickly), or am I the only one? ^^’

I’m in Gandara EU and I had minor lag problems in the morning. I logged in a few hours ago (10 p.m. here atm), and the lag is massive – the game is pretty much unplayable. I have the same problems you mentioned and it’s extremely frustrating.
I tried asking around in-game if anyone’s experiencing the same problem (friends, map chat…), but no one answered, so I’m not even sure I was able to send messages because of this.
