Guild Wars 2

When I try to get all the data for currencies, using ‘https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/currencies’, all I seem to get is “1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16,18,19,20,22,23,24,25,26,27,28,29,30”. But if I call a single ID, https://api.guildwars2.com/v2/currencies/1, then I can call .id, or .name, and get a value I expect, i.e. 1 or .id, coin for .name. I expected to get an array of items, that doesn’t seem to be the case. XXX¹.name returns undefined. I’m obviously missing something, but I don’t know what. I’m new to this, so that’s likely, but I have programming knowledge, so I understand the concepts of arrays and objects.

I’m at least able to get data back and start to modify the code.

So, I’ve been trying to teach myself javascript and JSON. Not seeming to get anywhere. Hopefully someone can post a <script> … </script> section to display the name of achievement 2258 in an alert box? I think if I can at least get one valid section of test code, I can adapt and expand.

PvE, Up to join just about anything. I have 2 lvl 80, with another almost there. 1 completely through the personal story and halfway through LW season 2. All but Chef to at least 400. I haven’t done many dungeons or fractals in the past, but would like to do more. Usually only play an hour or so in the evening, but if there’s something planned, occasionally I can do more. Weekends are more flexible.

I haven’t done any PvP or WvW, but might be interested in some point in joining in.
