I’d be getting the 256GB flash storage with the 13" screen. I’m trying to decide if I should upgrade from 1.3GHz intel i5 to 1.7GHz intel i7, and/or if I should upgrade from 4GB ram to 8GB ram.

I’m thinking about buying the new macbook air, and I was wondering if anyone could let me know how gw2 would run on it.

I was planning on getting the 256GB 13" MBA, and was wondering if upgrading the CPU from 1.3GHz i5 to 1.7GHz i7 would substantially help run gw2. I also was wondering if upgrading from 4GB to 8GB RAM would help.

Obviously a MBA isn’t ideal for gaming but that’s not the only reason I’m buying it. Decent graphics with decent FPS would be fine for me.

I pre-ordered GW2 and was able to play it during the pre-release period, but since the release I can’t play due to graphics issues. On the startup screen these strange large arrow-like figures shoot across my computer screen (glitching between multiple arrow images rapidly) and when I log in the games graphics just completely glitch out. I’m running the game on an ATI Mobility Radeon graphics card (1GB) (with switchable graphics), with an intel i5 core (windows 7). I’ve tried reinstalling the game and using the switchable graphics card, neither have worked. I have 44GB of free data on my C drive.

It’s annoying because I was able to run the game pre-release, and I know others with the pavilion dv7 can run the game.

Any suggestions on how to make the game run on my laptop?
