Sounds more like a problem with Windows since I suspect the game merely uses whatever language support the OS provides them as input. Does the correct characters come out in say Notepad?
Yes. I can type normally outside of the game. It’s only in game that the characters get messed up. And there are some really common characters that are messed up too like ni (you) and ma (a question particle).
I’m trying to type chinese but a bunch of the characters don’t display right when I type them in. Is there anyway to fix this? Do I need to download a specific keyboard for guild wars or something?
I’m using Windows 7 home basic 64x and I have tried a bunch of the chinese keyboards in the control panel but they all have the same problem. Some characters show up fine and others don’t.

I’v pretty new to guild wars, don’t really know much about it but my brother loves it and some of my other friends play it a lot as well. In other mmo games, I’v always loved small group pvp the most but all my friends play WvW the most so I want to find a class that works really well into small group pvp and wvw.
So far, I really like the sound of Necromancer, Mesmer and Elementalist but i’m still a little unsure on the specifics of each. Can anyone give me a rundown of their pro’s & con’s in both small group and wvw? I’m not really interested in the other classes but I may try them later down the road.
