so people could very well be losing their hard earned for the sake of an hours warning and, for that reason alone, I agree.

Zergs are great fun. I like them, not always, but there is something to be said for the feeling of crazy eyed superiority you get when 50 of you charge over a hill and mow down some poor, unsuspecting chap just out to farm a bit of ore.

Nothing beat the 5 man assassination squad though.

drakkar have lost the plot. apparently continuously failing to take a tower on our map > defending their own keeps.

we too lost a lot of our PvP guilds a while back, and suffered for it. recently however I’ve noticed a greater co-operative effort, combined with a better community spirit, and it’s paying off. Some decent commanders have helped a lot too.

Had a great run last night in our own borderlands, just the 4 of us, mopping up the camps and hunting down the loan wolves. Also, was great fun watching the blue and red teams clash at a supply camp only for us to run in once you had all left and retake it just in time for the points tally.

Proud of my fellow Aurorians, after getting our backsides handed to us for a couple of weeks a while back (kudos to Millers Sound in particular) we’ve really started to gel as a server and kick some kitten in the last two matchups.

imagine how much damage a mesmer portal could do with a well placed ladder!

it’s impossible to police the entire wall perimeter unless you have a massive group defending. with ladders you could have an entire army inside your walls in seconds.

I personally loved the completely useless “tonics” that turned you into a random animal for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

they do drop, get them from drops, map completion, personal story, achievments, and wait for it…other BL chests :/

actually I don’t know where the keys come from, I’ve completed at least 3 maps in the last few weeks and don’t remember getting any keys.

kittened if I’m paying for them though from the store, guess 60c is better than 30 useless trash taking up a slot in my bank.

What has happened to the black lion keys? Haven’t had one for weeks now, got about 30 chests in the bank but as they’re only going for about 2c each there’s no point selling them.

they just decided to nerf the drop rate on the keys but not the chests?

thanks for the reply. I was already leaning toward the SoN really but was worried they were as underwhelming as the others.

Ok, so you’ve got all your other elites and 30 skill points to spend. You do mainly PvE / Dungeons, and a bit of WvW…which do you pick?

For dungeon runs the SoN sounds perfect for a support function but if it’s as kitten as the rest of the Spirits then is it really worth it?

How much damage do the hounds really do, you don’t see people popping them that often, so are they worth it?

a pet system that works:-
a pet that actually hits it’s targets
a pet that doesn’t die within 5 seconds in a dungeon fight
a pet that can hold threat
a pet with more AI than a 1980s calculator
a pet with a separate heal skill
a pet with it’s own build tree

it’s pretty pointless debating what kinds of animals we all want when the whole system of pets is useless.

You are unable to click on it (him, her??), and it doesn’t spawn the dialogue mouse tip on hover.
