Guild Wars 2

Ever since the patch, if I’m activating facets they sometimes go off immediately after tapping the key to turn them on. I think maybe this has to do with the change that makes it so holding a key keeps attacking.

For example, when switching to Glint I’ll hit my 6 key once to turn on Facet of Darkness and it immediately activates Gaze of Darkness. This is extremely frustrating during raid encounters.

Has anyone else noticed this and does anyone have suggestions for how to avoid it?

I’ve been in contact with gw2 tech support for a day now and they’ve had me send them 3 different logs and uninstall/reinstall my video driver but I’ve not yet made any progress. If something does eventually solve the problem I’ll make sure to post it here.

As the title says, every time the first boss of Vinewrath is killed and I’m booted out of the bossroom (I’ve been doing only South because that’s when I noticed the crash and I’m trying to troubleshoot), within 10 seconds or so my screen flickers then goes black. I still have the cursor available and can hear the music but I’m forced to close gw2 via task manager.

I used to play this game, including Vinewrath no problem. The only difference now is my video card (GTX 750 Ti as opposed to an R7 250) and I’m playing on an SSD instead of my old HDD. This leads me to believe it has something to do with my video card or its drivers.

I’ve done a lot of googling, as well as looking on this subreddit and I’ve tried most of the suggestions I found, including disabling SPI and other firewall settings on my router (even though my router is the same as when I played gw2 successfully).

Has anyone else had this issue and found it was because of the video card? and if so, what was the solution?

edit: I’ve now also tried rolling back my driver (from 3350 to the previous one I believe) and it’s still crashing.

edit 2: it’s not just after VW boss, it’s been crashing throughout Silverwastes, usually within 40 or so minutes of me logging in. I also tried the repair function for the gw2 client and no luck.
