Hello,
Thanks for your support man.
I think a key factor would be giving the event a specific time span and place. That’s because it would give guilds a must play and a global reunion once or twice a week encouraging people to get ready for it and prepare strategies, alliances and take it seriously since it would last for a limited time. Also it would guarantee a lot of people killing each other.
Hello,
I’ve playing GW2 for a while and like everybody else I think that it needs more endgame content.
Well, thinking thoroughly about all the others MMORPGS I’ve played so far and the things I’ve liked about them the most I would like to suggest a weekly event in order to make the game funnier.
The mechanics are the following:
• It is a Guild vs Guild event, only characters belonging to a guild can participate.
• The main objective is to hold a castle until the end of the period of time against all the other guilds.
• The guild who won the castle in the previous event will be defending it since the beginning. They will have to build defenses, catapults and all that kind of stuff.
• There would be a map with a determinate number of castles, similar to the WvsW maps.
• Alliances between guilds can be created.
• It would be done 2 times per week and it would last 2 hours. That will encourage people to gather items, experience, equip, etc… and the whole guild to meet periodically and work together in order to face the event. It would really improve the bonds inside guilds.
• Only the guilds of a same world can participate.
• Rewards can be determined by the development team, for example the guilds or the alliances who win could have access to exclusive dungeons and receive treasures with high-level items and/or can play another WvsW event in which they would be representing their world.
Hope the suggestion could be considered.
Thanks.
