some ideas i have been thinking about for new weapons.
Glaives: a sword like weapon with a hand grip in the middle and two curved blades on either side. could be used by warriors, thiefs, Rangers. Mesmers? focuses on movement and AoE cripple/bleed attacks.
Poleaxe: used by Warriors, guardians and Engineers? Focuses on charging in and debilitating/knocking down foes.
Flail: used by warriors, Guardians, Engineers, thiefs? focuses on powerful attacks that slow and stun the target.
Short Spear: one handed spear weapons. used by Warriors, Thiefs, Elementalists, ranger? can be used as a thrown weapon by Ranger or Elementalist. focuses on quick piecing attacks.
Chakrams: a blade in the shape of a large ring with a hand grip. used by Elementalists, Necromancers, Mesmers and Guardians. a magicly thrown weapon that returns to the user (not unlike the water attuned dagger auto attack for Elementalists) Focusing on quick single target attacks and confusing AoE attacks.
