nerfing this event did absolutly nothing to help the op or others who want to run arah, in fact it only made it harder, because many just wont even bother with it now, i mean think about it, you wanna run arah and its contested…u cant 5 man the event, and if by some miracle u convince 20 ppl to help u, it takes like 20 minutes to open it, its far more easy and fast to just have 1 player guesting…

i was to some of those farms and after 1 hour or so we would always just kill champ and finish the event, now we dont do it anymore, at some point we had ppl crying “oh we cant do arah this is bs”, so we said fine, go ahead and finish the event, and we left leaving those 5 crybabies with no option but to guest, but gl to the op opening his gates of arah with his 5 man grp, cause the farmers who were opening for you, wont bother now.

OP u nearly got 8k achiev points and no legendary (i assume you want one)…thats just wow, i love doing achieves all the time and i got twilight at around 4k achieves (bought precursor), by the time i reach 8k achiev points, i will probably have like another 2k gold lying around, getting even 2 legendaries is easier then 8k achiev points, as for ppl saying 15k achiev points, oh man, could probably get 10 precursors worth of crap by the time i hit that mark.

so they’re kittentier warriors? again why bring one when warriors exist for dps

So you can ress the warrior that spendt half the bossfight using a rifle and the other half in a downed state, assuming we dont speak of cof p1

i am happy with my ranger, i have many other lvl 80 chars including a warr and guardian, i find it funny to read and see here all of a sudden when they “nerf” sb that EVERYBODY was playing sb, when the reality is totally different, ppl are just upsaid cause they were waiting on a huge positive change that didnt happen, as for pet ability nerfs, hell i bet more then half of players dont even use them on cd.

As for ranger vs other classes, gimme a break, even tho i love playing my warrior i feel more comfortable bringing my ranger in some situations (not all ofc), and when i do i see so many elitist zerk warriors lying down saying “ress pls”, world events are full of melee classes using ranged weaps, in dungeons its about the encounters more or less, as for high level fractals we always use ranger and would never take a zerker warr for instance.

i have ran cof few times with my zerker warr and 3 others like me along with a mesmer, was insanly fast an very profitable, but not the best way to farm, i can tell you why, my best friend farms cof for gold, i do something else:
use gw2stuff tool, guest 2 servers, do in rotation like this, melandru – protect 2nd beacon, gates of arah, grenth and bathazar (doesnt matter if they fail), eye of zhaitan. Along side those make sure to kill all the other bosses each day (dont bother with jormag or taidha) and at the end of it all i always gain more then my friend farming cof, i make about 30g each day from this (by day i mean few hours i play), and i could do more if i had more time ofc, because i can always repeat those temples in orr since the real value is in the waves of undead and not the daily chests. Also the trick is to use a class/weapon that allows you to hit all enemies during those temple pre events, u wanna be tagging all mobs.
