You should try stopping the 30+ enemy zerg with just a couple of necros and ACs. It’s priceless

It will barely work against really big zerg since they got airship strike and disablers and can afford building counter ac, so you need people to keep them busy while they melt. Nerco fear works in few spots and easily countered by stab and aegis, not to mention pro eotm sfr roamers which won’t let you stand at one spot for long.

Ever met green commander who won’t let you do anything on the map like he get precursor from every kill? When you get to play outnumbered side you have to give a fight sometimes cause otherwise you will get rekt again and again.

If you want to kill people in EotM, go with a fearwall necro or siege up a tower with ACs, a few friends, and let the loot bags roll in.

that kind of attitude makes me sad

There is some fun in being outnumbered all the time though. If you can get enough cooperation you can put strategic ac traps to stop and kill all the green train to decrease their numbers a bit.

It’s bad though that most people come eotm for karma and they don’t understand importance of killing enemy. So if you put ac traps and ask your team to wait behind that corner for 5 min to get enemy into it, you will be most likely flamed in mapchat and some other guy will tag up and get wiped at next champion. But sometimes it works out and then gg.

it’s generally pve map when all 3 commanders are crabbing karma. but once one of the sides gets pvp oriented leader it becomes fun.

well it used to be so before and during wvw season 2. after that sfr became too stronk with all those rallybots who transfered for wvw rewards.

now only first overflow (which you can join in first 1-2 minutes of eotm matchup) sometimes can provide some fun but that’s all.

No one follows commander now.
A lot of disbalanced 1vs1 fights, anyone with better gear can gank you.
Lags were not a big deal in 30vs30, but they are crucial in 1vs1.

ANet made borderlands enjoyable only for roamers. There is some point in that, but how new players will earn their badges now?
