lynn I actually have had this issue since day 1 of pre-release (but surprisingly never in the BWEs).

I reported it and others are having the same issue.. no resolution yet unfortunately.

ESC -> Options -> General Options -> Combat Section

Check “Promote Skill Target”

Would this really fix it? This just looks to promote the target when I attack.

Got same problem as Kay and I tought that my mouse is breaking but everywhere else its working pretty well. Maybe it has something to do with mouse type and its software ? My mouse model: Cyborg RAT 7

Doubtful. I have a Logitech M570. I first thought it was my dual screen monitor, which is even more frustrating to use. If I have both monitors enabled, when this mouse focus issue happens I actually click on the second monitor and the game minimizes. Really sad that this is happening in a final product, especially when there are achievements for not dying (monthly achievement) and when this happens, 9/10 times I die because I need to realize what happened, bring the game window back up, wait for it to load, then get back into action. I’ve submitted 3 bug reports so far and it’s still not fixed.

I am having an issue since the pre-release (not in the BWEs, actually) where my mouse will actually lose focus mid-use when I am using right click mouse look and moving around or using skills. As an engineer with the flamethrower kit, this is extremely frustrating and leads to numerous deaths while I am trying to back up from an enemy, adjust my camera to face the oncoming enemy and while using my skills. What happens is the right click mouse look works, then I start using some keyboard keys, such as S & 1 or 2, and the camera moving stops, I get my mouse cursor back as if I let off the right mouse button. I can still hold the right mouse button and it will sometimes re “catch” the camera but sporadically, if that.

Has anyone hit this before? This is the first time this has ever happened in a game for me, and I don’t have a clue on how to fix it.
