So!

My husband and I (LGBT) are potentially interested in joining a guild. We’re returning from a 1.5-2 year hiatus and don’t have the expansion, Heart of Thorns. Our server is Darkhaven (but does that really matter anymore? I can’t tell!) and we have a pair of level 80s (thief/guardian).

We strongly prefer Discord and are currently limited to playing on Thurs/Fri/Saturday. Our availability may change in September based on a shift bid at my husband’s place of employment.

We look for structure in a guild: regularly scheduled events (dungeons or trivia contests, for example), helping lower level/less experienced players move up in both the game and guild, established and enforced standards for member behavior, and communication between guild leaders and members.

Server: US – Darkhaven preferred.
Play type: PvE in all forms.
Player style: casual.
Active during: 2nd shift EST; 6 PM to 11 PM M-F, throughout the day on Saturday and mostly not on Sundays due to scheduling conflicts with other gaming.
Voice preference: will always use voice chat while in-game; rarely out of game.
Social preference: small to medium sized guild on nickname/first name basis that is generally mature; would prefer 16+ in age as we’re 26 through 29.

There are 3 of us looking for a guild; me, my husband, and my sister. The husband and I haven’t played since about 4 months after launch; sister has even less experience than that. Husband and I each have a level 80 with okay gear (thief for him, guardian for me) and we’re leveling a trio right now with the sister to get her up to level 80 (necro/mesmer/engineer).

About us:

We’re here and we’re queer. Husband and I are a male/male couple with a preschool aged son you will hear playing Smash Bros in the background while on voice chat. (Don’t worry! We make him keep the volume down on the televison!) Sister is just as queer in her own way and we’re looking specifically for a guild that is A-okay with this aspect of our lives, as it’s no fun to play with people who despise you.

We’re looking to do map exploration, level grinding, and dungeons for the moment while the sister acclimates to the game. (She’s used to playing WoW.)

My partner and I are looking for a guild on Darkhaven. We’ve a pair at level cap (human guardian/thief) and are working on leveling our second pair (norn elementalist/warrior) to 80 now. We play around my partner’s work schedule on the EST timezone from roughly 9-11 am and 9 pm-12 am during the week as well as 9 am-5 pm on Saturdays and throughout the day on Sunday. Right now we’re focusing on PVE content but we’re both interested in PVP and everything else that the game has to offer.

We’d like to find a place within a guild that is friendly, outgoing, and helpful. A focus on teamwork and working together as a community would be a plus. Quality over quantity is preferred as far as members goes and perks like guild upgrades, voice chat, website, and whatnot are just that – perks.

It is important for the guild to be LGBT-friendly; if there is not a guild on Darkhaven that is, we will consider transferring servers.
