Our guild upgraded our workshop with synthesis output but we can still only farm once per day even though it should be 4 times.
I do not know if it is already mentioned somewhere but my guild experienced problemns with guild rush 2 times in a row. We could claim the guild rush but afterwards the mission just wouldn’t start. Is there a way to prevent this from happening or is somebody already looking into this?
What I really liked this beta was the dragon hunter, though many people claim they did not find a use for it. It was necessary to search a bit for a good build but using the bow to pin down enemies and the vulnerability trap were huge bonuses for me. It was nice to be able to keep the monsters away with the bow at first and sweep in with greatsword afterwards by using the wings. I always hated the fact that I was useless as a guardian while defending a fort in wvw due to lack of ranged but that was resolved now. Even when they get inside through the gate these vulnerability traps could work really well in combination with arrow carts. A few tweaks are necessary of course but in general I liked the addition to guardian.
They did get us some good additions today. Really nice stuff. Only thing that would have been nice would new race like the tengu because many people asked it as well. So I hope it wil be added eventually. But still nice job with the new content though!
But what is this map update of brisban wildlands whith festival update? I have not seen it.
Me neither, do tell.
Since I haven’t seen this answered yet, there was a part of the world map for Brisban that was added. You can see the edge of it if you unfog Toxal Bog and Aurora’s Remains, but dat diving uncovered the full of it. Here is one version:

Southeast corner. A pond, a small structure, and a very faint path to the edge of the map.
Was that a Scarab at 1 minute into the video?

Well I actually didn’t see that before. Because the cinematic showed some waste lands after going through thaumova i tough it would go more to the maguuma waste side and that they would take a northern entrance. Maybe they will use the northern later then or as another way to a second zone above the dry top part. But I still can’t find how to unfog the new map piece tough xp
But what is this map update of brisban wildlands whith festival update? I have not seen it.
The portal surrounded by thorned vines seen in the image on the main site that says “season 2 starts july 1” is in Brisban Wildlands. I’ve been to it and it’s currently blocked by other vines. It’s kinda hidden in the lower southwest corner of the map.
That’s aurora glades part which was a mission in gw1 but I have been there few times haven’t seen a portal. But it would be a good place to place one since I think, especially after the new intro, that the setting will be more maguuma waste style then actual jungle. That part is very close to dry top from gw1 wich leans pretty well towards that setting. One scene even looks a bit like it. But still it could be anywhere off maguuma with more sandy places.
This portal has me wondering.
My guess is that portal is on the Magumma (wastes?) side, not our side.
I think that as well. Since we see a few sandy pieces of footage in the new intro maguuma wastes could be where the new zone is. As said before dry top is possible as well but I don’t know if it has enough ‘desert’. We will see
Yes the portal of the reveal has a bit more jungle around it but still it does not exist. The only other portal in the area is in the fort. It would still be easier to change a bit of the layout around a portal instead for example adding a new portal close to the aurora glades. Which does not me they won’t because as you said the region around dry top seems a bit more detailed. But the region north of brisban still belong to the regions that in gw1 belonged to the maguuma jungle. It may be krytan territory but still belongs to maguuma so expansion could go in both directions. We still don’t no where modremoth actually lives so it could be more west. The area north of brisban were regions in gw1 so they could reopen them and go west that way. But still we won’t now until then.
With the new season coming up and the rise of mordremoth I think a new zone near the brisban wildlands will eventually open. In the brisban wildlands there is this destoryed bridge northwest of the map with some bandit engineers repairing it. At the other side a zone entrance can be seen. The season is probably going to start with some small occurences around the jungle but the most logical new zone to open would be there i think. Maybe in a few weeks those bandits will finally repair that bridge which they have been doing since the launch. :p
like in season one we are probably going to see small changes in the maps, attacks on the most western areas for example. We can all agree that this will most likely happen in brisban wildlands. Once they have their world changes covered I think they are going to open a new area north of brisban eventually. North west in the map there is this bridge that is destroyed with a clear map connection accros it. They are going to fix that bridge.
Now that it has been made clear that the achievement system is going to change in season 2 I think the rewards system has to be changed as well. The idea is great having a more challenging way to get achievements so not everyone gets them but lately I have been getting rather disappointing rewards. I hit the 7500 achievement and beside some mystic forge stones I didn’t really get anything usefull. If the achievements are going to be harder to get I thinks it’s also a good idea to make it worthwhile to replay the story and get them.
