Medium armors tend toward thief/engineer looks. Viper, Strider’s, and Human T3 are the only sets that give off an engineer vibe without mix and match. I used to run Human T3 with a Thief’s hood.

Mechanic to minimize stacking:
Boss drops some form of aoe on each player. Players not stacked will take relatively trivial damage, but stacked players will take the combined damage of each aoe. This would work with conditions as well.

It’s useful in PVP, but I recommend taking Berserker’s Power for PVE and not ever touching it.
