I’ve never taken to the forums before to voice my concern, but this feels like i should.
I get that they’re targeting new players with the verbage “includes base game”. The expansion was likely targeted to be $50 anyway…
As a veteran player since original beta, $50 feels too high for an expansion. However, $50 would feel right if it were a stand-alone package like GW: Factions or GW: Nightfall.
Maybe if we knew more about what we’d be getting for our $$. How many zones? what size are they? How many missions/hours is the single-player story expected to take? (not including grind for masteries)
I normally run CoF 2x a day. Paths 1 & 2. Quick and easy!
This particular run we were doing path 2 and were at the final boss. Baelfire had targeted me so I was kiting him out in the previous room while the rest of the party was taking care of business.
After clearing the alcoytes and taking down the final bit of the rock-thing in the room they kicked me…
Why?!
This is why people hate PUGs…
get the candy-corn perma-node in your home instance. Mine it once a day. should be able to afford it… in a few years.
Or just buy the candy in the auction house. prices should continue to drop.
yeah, the 3rd stage of the Frizz fight is really, really tough. If a team-mate goes down then there’s not enough time to rez them. It’s only a matter of time before the entire party wipes and you have to start the entire encounter from scratch. I’ll give it another try tonight but this may be the first living story that I do not complete.
I never have enough materials to keep crafting at an appropriate level of my character. And low-level materials are much too expensive in the auction house for low-level characters.
