I have been a fans of huge battleground and guildwars 2 has been really awesome in providing a great WvW battle. I am not sure if the idea has been proposed before by other awesome players, but personally here I still feel that the war can be improved. This is because I realize, as usual, when we are being zerg or out of people in a battle, we’ll just teleport to less people defending battleground. This really holds up the battle intense.
The maps are designed well, but I personally feel that 1 minor changes can actually make the WvW more intense, which is to disable teleport to other map unless they conquer the last teleport on the endless battleground, then they can teleport to other battleground.
For example, Eternal battleground; once red conquered Red Shard Hill, they can teleport to upper battleground to bring it to the last keep. And Green will have to push out from upper battleground to gain back momentum to push back to Eternal battleground, else they can’t teleport to Eternal battleground anymore.
The World that gains until the last keep can get some uber legendary coins or weapons or etc.
I am suggesting this because I feel WvW is very empty, its issue almost similar to Warhammer Online where people just teleport to empty war region to gain points from keep control. This really decrease the intense of WvW, it is almost similar to PvE where we just run around from 1 keep to another to gain control from NPC instead of pushing to gain control from occupied keeps with players to defense. A WvW should be where huge amount of attackers fight with defenders to gain control of an area. Not just attack the empty keep with NPC.
