A tab wherein we can save outfits we’ve mixed and matched from different sets would be really useful for those of us who like to experiment with the item skins.
I was wondering, if you guys deemed these two maps not worthy of teamq, what makes you think they’re appropriate for soloq?
Remove personal points in pvp please. They’re useless and they promote selfish play for those who don’t know any better.
“Pvp Mode” was created to give balance from the worlds of pve and pvp. Not because of fashion lol! No pve food buffs, no pve skills, no pve armor stats, no OP rune sets.
Balanced Pvp.
OP is pve
It was a joke. Also, the only reason you’d even change your armor sets in pvp(hotm) is for the looks. Sooo yeahhh, pvp is for fashion.
As all of you know, pvp was mostly made for fashion. That’s why it was the first game mode with the skin locker, obviously. Now, the wardrobe system is an amazing system that further improved the fashion in the pvp world, however I feel that it can still be further improved.
How you ask??
Please let us rearrange the skins in the wardrobe tab, or save outfits that we put together from different armor sets so as to help us create more and more new looks without having to remember which armor goes where when we wanna go back to a certain look we had in the past.
Q: Will we be able to sell PvP materials to npc vendors similar to tournament tickets?
A: These materials are not being removed as part of the maintenance build. In this update we are only removing glory and MAKING AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE AMOUNT OF RANK POINTS EARNED.So where is the adjustment to the amount of rank points earned? because I can’t find it!
Serious don’t make a ,,March 18th Glory change FAQ’’ if you can’t keep your promises!
If we can’t trust or rely on your FAQ’s why even put them in?Huh? Am I missing something?
NEW FEATURES AND CONTENT
Structured Player vs. Player
- Rank points have been increased across all Custom, Solo, and Team Arenas.
Rank points EARNED is misleading. It could be read as them saying rank points that have already been earned instead of rank points that you will earn if you play more matches.
With the way hotjoin is being played by the majority, it’s pretty obvious that it promotes solo play or “I have the more points, so I am better than you.” Especially with an option to just go to spectate and wait for auto-balance to equalize the teams for him to be able to join the winning team. This goes against the “teamplay” that this game promotes.
Too often have I seen people bring this type of play-style into Soloq/Teamq, and too often has this made the team I’m on lose big time. Either the hotjoin hero plays to get the most individual points, or he rages and, seeing as he can’t spectate in these matches to transfer to the other team, afk/quits because his team is losing.
I think that a way for hotjoin matches to at least give the hotjoin heroes a general idea of how teamq/soloq should be played would be to implement a system that restricts a player from switching sides once he joins either blue/red. This will give players a better sense of team play, seeing as they will no longer be able to desert their original team in favor of a winning one.
Another thing that I think will go well with the above would be to prevent each team from having one more player than the other. In a game like gw2, where everyone is mostly equal to an extent(lol), an extra player is too much of an advantage for a team. It hardly promotes fair play. A system that requires two players in spectate to team up first before being distributed to either team would be good. Something like having the players queue up for either team before being put into the hotjoin game.
Tldr ; Hotjoin should be revamped in such a way that it teaches players the things they need to know before joining a soloq/teamq match.
Anyway, what do you guys think?
I’d recommend shatter
Yes, I’d love 2v2s and 3v3s. Though they happen a lot in tpvp, it’s just not the same.
I also find the fact that we can’t even dodge the attacks of the hammer to be unfair. If I can time when the hammer lets loose its friggin lightning-like judgement, and dodge it, I should to be able to avoid it without having to go invulnerable. A lot like how dodges are effective against the treb in Battle of Kyhlo.
