I love the wallet so much.
Main thing I’d like them adding to combat is a cast timer underneath the mobs health or something. It just feels so arbitrary to make everything about dodging but then giving you no indication as to how far into a cast something is.
I understand going through all the already existing armors may take some time (not that they shouldn’t be fixed either) but could we at least see armor that gets added in patches actually take charr tails into account? It’s really annoying still seeing armor added in that my charrs tail clips right on through.
That and the people who voted Kiel as a way of ‘saying no to the chests on the store’ in some weird sticking it to the man way like the fictional NPC is the one that puts stuff on the store.
are there actually people who exist and said this?
Saw it repeated quite a bit on Tarnished Coast.
i have a feeling that all the super toxic people on this thread are the same ones that would be complaining about how the abbadon fractal didnt live up to super hyped expectations, or how it devalued perfectly good lore that should have been left alone, if evon had won.
While not being one of the toxic people I’ll admit I wanted Evon to win less because of a fractal I wouldn’t even do and more since I find humans to be boring.
Here I’ll make it simple in case next time you want to make the stupid mistake of putting concepts to vote and then trashing the losing concept forever:
1 vote ticket is dropped in the daily chest for each tier of fractals beyond 10. So at level 10 fractals you’d get 1 vote, level 20, 2 votes.
This way people who are at level 48 would get potentially 10 votes a day, where people who barely scratch the surface of fractals would get 1 vote a day, and people who don’t run them at all don’t get to vote.
Well that’s unfair as well as apparently this story is going to affect more than just a fractal.
Yay the boring human won! /sarcasm
While the Citizen of Tyria for a Better Tomorrow Tomorrow fully support Evon we must congratulate Kiel on a well earned victory.
Nope.
Screw the whole voting thing. You guys round filed a good concept of a fractal, gambling it on a vote. Now it’ll never be made.
You tied voting on the fractal to an event where people who DON’T EVEN RUN FRACTALS voted on it and people who chose Ellen for whatever other reason other than the fractal get to decide what content people who do run fractals get to do.
This was a massive screwup.

Honestly the perfect rectangle/square zones is one of my biggest issues with a otherwise beautiful world. I’d be otherwise fine with all the mountains if the zones at least had varied shapes.
it’s about as mountainous as WOW, so, no. MMO’s just use mountain ranges to constrain players to areas.
Eh to be fair WoW hasn’t used mountains that way since TBC and uses more ‘realistic’ (with exceptions for things such as Titan created areas) mountain ranges for areas such as Northrend and Pandaria.

On the other hand at least doing nightly restarts till all the issues are fixed would ‘fix’ all the broken events till they get broke again making it so people don’t need to wait 6 days to do a skill point or event.
You’ll never see your Warband again. You can see them in your home instance but can’t talk to them or any other character there for some reason. Yea it’s kinda annoying how there’s the whole buildup about how a Charr’s Warband is everything and it only matters for such a tiny portion of the game before you brush it off to never see the characters again.
Charr should have been the main enemy. Undead are boring and repetitive.

Nah I’d rather have the race that’s the sole reason I got the game for.
Sole reason?
Ouch.
Charr are, in my opinion, terrible, and only worthy of our hatred, bullets, steel and offensive magic.
At least with the way the games lore is set out, its likely that the charr, after defeating the dragons, will attack the civilized races and then, be wiped out as the truly civilized races wipe them out.
You act like races like the Asura don’t actually tell you they want to take over the world. And the humans were the same way when they initially came to Tyria. While the charr on the other hand seem to only want to keep Ascalon besides the Flame Legion which are exactly the type of charr you’re talking about.
Honestly I think the dragons spawn too often for what they are. It’s so silly to have the dragon magically re-appear 20 minutes after he dies flying over your head to die exactly 3 hours later. They should only spawn 2-4 times a day and that’s it.
That and the whole ‘Hai I’m a dragon and I’m gonna stand here and roar over and over and do the same 3 things over and over and over and be absolutely no threat to anyone since scripting me so I can actually move around is a lot harder then repeating the same 3 lines of code ad nauseam.’ That or at least make the 3 attacks actually deadly such as make it so they can at least turn to do the breath attacks so they actually are something you care about. The dragon champions should be events where there actually is a fear of actually dying instead of just sitting there at ranged spamming your auto attack while afk on the dragon that can’t move, turn around, or do anything outside 3 attacks. Of course maybe they can be fun if the current versions of the dragons scaled much much better with the amount of players.

Well we’re getting a pretty large build right now so maybe some things are finally just fixed permanently.
Well now let’s hope they at least do a build tonight so the events and skill points that have been broken for over 4 days now will at least work for a little while.
Did they ever fix that fact that the Flame Legion items don’t take the charr tail into account and have the tail clip right through them?
The charr cultural sets show a bit of leg.
The old teeth looked suffered from less ‘how exactly aren’t his teeth stabbing him through the top of his head’.
Even if there is no build to push restarting the servers nightly till all the skillpoint and event bugs are fixed would be great. It’s just kinda annoying seeing things such as the Ghost House in Iron Marches always being bugged or the Crucible of Eternity Skill Point being broke for over 3 days now. And those are just 2 examples of a slew of broken events and skill points I’ve ran into.

I think the idea was for this to display the shadow on your face caused by the visor and have onlh your eyes stand out… but yeah… it’s brown O_o
They told the color blind guy to set the shadowing for the helmet and ignored him when he said ‘I can’t see black!’ (yea I know that’s likely not possible)
I love the run animation as it really pushes the whole bestial nature part of them.
I’m still amused that the T3 cloth culture armor has the tail go through it still along with the Flame Legion armor. 2 things you’d think they’d make sure to modify for the tails.
