Do you have vipre? I was just having this issue. Turning off firewall didn’t work. Add the following to your exceptions though. Worked great for me. ‘assetcdn.101.ArenaNetworks.com’
would you need to restart your computer after adding the exception? I have Vipre and added “assetcdn.101.ArenaNetworks.com” but still showing the “error”.

I for one would much appreciate having another method to get a Mist Stone. Reason for this would be since we are dealing with DDosing over the past couple of days. I have not been able to put a group together to even start a fractal run. It gets annoying to know to get a relic is an one time a day thing when you cannot predict that the sever will be shutdown
Last night was the worst I have seen in regards to server issues. I was in LA around 8pm EST when not only me but everyone in LA was DC’d. I came back in and LA was empty. These crashes kept up through the night at least till 12:30am EST when I had enough and logged off. It is a terrible problem, that everyone in chat is talking about. I can only imagine the amount of reports that have been sent into Anet regarding this issue.
My suggestion: Stop releasing updates (since you can’t play them without crashing), put your resources and money (you know the millions of dollars your getting through the gem store) and fix the server issues. Stabilize the servers and go back to releasing content, but do it every 6 months and make sure it works….
Well I’m going to not try to freakout as much as I usually do when stuff like this happens. But I agree.. Server’s have had an issue like this because of the new release.
I’ve been having the similar issue on my Necro and Ranger. Right now trying a -repair to see if it possibly fixes the problem. It is odd though I never had this sort of problem this bad where it makes me lag so much yet chat with guild is unaffected.
