Could be – I don’t know.

But whatever I did – it got me onto a map where the event was working Before trying to guest I tried logging out and in dozens of times, tried changing my own IP address /region via VPN, etc etc. Only guesting threw me onto a new IP address.

Maybe it was a coincidence, but both times I tried guesting, I ended up on a different server IP.

Bashing Bauxite was bugged/stalled in Desolation for over a week, every time I checked. I guested to Fissure of Woe at about 1pm GMT today and it wasn’t bugged. Finally got it!

Just a note that I was able to get the TP back up on my Macbook Air running Mavericks by using Sarah’s workaround from page 11 of this thread, combined with the fix mentioned here: http://fehlis.blogspot.co.uk/2014/01/guild-wars-2-mac-ostrading-post-not.html

The workaround itself didn’t do the trick (I’m guessing the workaround plus a reboot would have, but the other fix was faster than a reboot for me).

I was asking in case I could save time, not money or materials. Laurels are the only absolute time gate for a full set of ascended armor.

This is probably a pipe dream, but a girl can hope…

Does anyone know if it’s possible to create a satchel of ascended armor (the recipe, of course) from the Mystic Forge, and save on buying the individual recipes after the coat?
