Dev tems dont listen do they?

So I was jumping around from site to site today checking out different Guild Wars 2 sites and support sites. And I find that a lot of the players that I have come to enjoy playing with have left the game and stated several reasons for.

This brings me to the topic question at hand. Is the developer team truly listening to their community? The reason I ask this is because tonight I see up in the LFG system while playing with my girl, Selling ARAh spots 10 gold. So I bounce into group to see what its all about and guess what 2 warriors duoed their way to the end skipping everything and were selling their spots. SO I get on youtube and watch how its done, and my ohhh my there are quite a few glitches used to get to that point.

This sparks up a conversation between me and my girl about the current state of the game. And for the first time in 4 months since we bought her new alienware, she tells me she is fed up with the game at its current state. So I ask her if she would like to maybe go try a new game for a while and come back in 9 months or more to see if they actually did anything that they have been promising to do for the past year.

SO Anet here is my suggestion to you once again, since it seems to keep getting deleted by the dev team. Pls make this game better and give us our expansion and stop milking us for every dime we have. And when we come back in about 9 months or so, don’t destroy a great game that we have come to love through your stupid living story crap and gem store stupidity.

Till we play again I hope you start listening to your slowly dwindling player base and maybe take a lesson from TESO or EQN. Or loose even more players to those games when they are released.

I agree with the one reply post Anet has made this game this way, but its an easy fix if they would care to. If you stop to revive people and be supportive then you loose credit for the event and credit for loot. I have seen this happen so much with me and my girl while we are reving people and such we wind up only getting bronze or silver and have even a few times got nothing at all.

ITs how anet wants their game. They don’t want you to support your friends and allies they just want you to zerg in zerker gear dropping damage.

Its really an easy fix and counter though if they would just implement something where if your in a group you get credit if your group is doing what they do and killing the mobs and doing the event. It would bring a new meaning to this game and groups, while also making another class like support guards and eles a viable option.

Easy Solution to Remove Zerg in WvW

I have just sat here and read all 3 pages of this forum post, and I decided that I have to add my opinion. Me and my girl bought this game to play together and we have slowly built our guild over the course of 1.5 yrs. The current state of the game in both pve and wvw is rather sad. Almost 2 years without any major content update, besides living story which is short, unamusing and rather pointless. And no real progress on WvW.

Im an avid Gw 1 fan and I used to love the coordination and such that you had to accomplish when you were alliance Battling or GvG’ing. But it seems that Anet has fallen soo far from the tree on the whole WvW, that at this point in the game neither of us really do much of it at all. Before zerging became the meta we used to try it out and were rather successful running in a small 8-10 man group. I have actually run in smaller groups of say 3 or 4 and been very successful in wiping a small zerg of 15-20. But that was with running a secret build that I will not share with anyone cause I cant find anyone to run it with now. But in the past 3 months since I have been back and gone to WvW for my server I have seen nothing but karma training, its almost like its become one more PVE environment. I agree with the OP that aoe does need to have its cap removed, because as it sits right now We will be leaving the game along with all of the members of our guild which btw is about 50 accounts.

1) PVE needs an an expansion such as the likes of factions or nightfall,
2) Servers need to be merged due to the actual loss of probably over 5 million accounts from the game in the past 6 months.
3) Wvw needs balancing and better maps that EOTM…which is the dumbest and laziest thing the devs ever did.

But don’t worry Anet we have come together as a guild and offer these 3 simple suggestions that you can use so you don’t loose more people to EQN or ESO.

1) Let us go to the Canthans now and ask for help from them since SB has officially destroyed LA, like the great exodus from Ascalon to LA in the first place.
2) Lock in server transfers so that people don’t jump ship and stack to servers that are already HIGH pop., and merge the smaller ones like sbi to give us a decent chance in tourneys like the Mar 18th upcoming one. Where sbi will get steamrolled cause other server paid to have our people transferred out.
3) Might I suggest that you add better rewards to those defending and possible combine all 5 maps into one HUGe map so that smaller groups can outcap the zergs, which in turn breaks up the mob effectiveness. OR just shutdown WVW and totally rework it all. Yeah we might be sad for a few but in the end we all get what we want, better fights during WvW.

If you can do that and be the company that we fell in love with while making Gw1 then I think you might keep a few of us here instead of us leaveing. So its your choice Anet either we mass exodus your product and watch your game slowly crumble or you let us mass exodus to cantha or some other expansion.

I don’t think there is much problem to this skill to be quite honest. I run with my warrior all the time and I am specced into power hard core and when we pull a group of mobs, into a nice clump I just melt them down. THen again I have superior sigil of fire on my axe and also will hit the #4 skill right before I pop that for the +20 percent crit chance. Then I just #5 and watch the mobs health melt away, and usually that’s all it takes. unless its like marionette where I then have to hundred blade the mob to root and stack bleeds. But I never seem to have any problems with it. Maybe you can show me what your running for spec and I can help you out.

Suggestion to keep others from leaving....

While playing today on my guardian who has 2500 armor value and such, I receieved a HUGE hit of 6k to my character from none other than a theif in stealth, THis has been an ongoing problem that i am sure has caused many more good players such as myself to leave, I could understand a 6 k hit on a light armor wearer but on a fully decked 80 guardian that seems a little ridiculous. Needless to say that is very discouraging when this problem has been persistent for at least 4 months now and ANET still has not fixed the thiefs and their ability to stealth every sec. In the long run i dont think it will much matter cause my fiance, my guild and me will be leaving this game since ANET does not seem to care about what their community is saying to them… Attached is a picture of the 6k crit followed by another one about 2 secs later.. Good job ANET destroying a fan since Release of GW1….. Its time to finally find another game…..
