All new stuff in dungeons is going to be hard for the first few days. We see it all the time with new content – people fail and get knocked down when they aren’t used to that sort of thing, and they claim it is too difficult.
Give it a week or so for everyone to develop strategies, learn encounters, and build fundamentals, and they will claim it is too easy. Trust me when I say this, the numbers are punishing (but less than they were before), but knowing the mechanics will greatly mitigate the danger.

Well thanks for the insults at your players.Sorry but I don’t know if I’ll be doing any more AC runs.The thing took me over 2 hours to do with guild mates all level 80.The rewards were NOT worth going through all of it….

I just disabled my AVG and firewall, then it patched fine.I hope that works for other folks!

Getting the same thing, just keeps telling me connection error. Ugh

I don’t think he said this was a delay.Just that the other company as better at alerting people on delays AND events.Though true they never gave any real time at all,just a vague notion of when it might be.That is doing no one any good other than to cause unrest among the player base who are eager to play.Esp. those who thought it would hit live like early today not near the end of the day or middle of the night next day depending on where you are living.

Even if there was a delay, it doesn’t take a member of their tech team to tell us its being delayed,or possibly give a rough ETA. Which would be nice since everyone is just sitting around wondering and being driven crazy by it.They could at least given a rough time.Something would be nice.

It was implied in another post by a RED that you didn’t have to have maxed crafting to craft the weapons,just that you’d have to be level 80 to actually use them..

I’ve played only one game that had a marriage system.It wasn’t awful either.There wasn’t much of a benefit to it other than a daily Marriage quest.It was just something nice to do esp for couples playing the game.It was only M/F which is silly but at the time i guess was what people expected.These days it should be open to any one period.

You know, I don’t like the cost of the way points at all.I know they are sup. to be money sinks but that stinks to me.The world is fairly large and its going to get larger.If you don’t like using way points,then don’t.If you do then great. I honestly wouldn’t mind less way points if we could get mounts. Yes i said the dirty word, mounts.Either style would be fine flying or ground given they ran/flew faster than we can on foot.

Played many a game with them and never had an issue.To each their own though.I just know i wouldn’t want to walk all the way from one major city to an area on the other side of the map.

Hmm, if it only matters in PVP then i guess LB isn’t as useful.I love it however in PVE so eh. I normally run with LB/SB or LB/Sword .I just like to have fun i don’t much care about PVP honestly.I enjoy defending points and running off.

The load time has greatly increased.Its becoming really annoying to wait 30-40 seconds to load.I wonder whats going on with this. blah

I have had this issue for monsters standing right next to me. Suddenly can’t tough them and then bam i can again.Sometimes it says obstructed and sometimes invulnerable,when neither actually should apply since im right in front of them.

That us odd, did you look around to see if it dropped?When i did this i often dropped and picked it back up during fights.

My main in an ele and even i have a difficult time sometimes seeing through the effects.I love them don’t get me wrong…just wish there was an option to tone them down a bit.

I personally believe if i have to grind my way to a legendary weapon…its not all that legendary then.Grinding is not legendary people,and from what i understand wasn’t what Anet wanted but i guess that slipped.

I understand you want to make them hard to get, sure,but to make them so impossibly difficult to achieve outside obscene hours of grinding for gold/karma is just…well sad.

That makes them rewards for people who started early,exploited,or buys huge amounts of gems and converts to gold.

I want it to be legendary, give me a string of difficult missions like the personal story to get to it.Make me battle epic bosses with their own heavy duty areas to achieve the goal.That would make it legendary…not grinding gold for months or “tag and run” grinding for karma.

Personally i would like there to be an option at least for a grouping tool for dungeons. Yes i know some of you hate the idea of being able to queue for a group.Something about killing the social aspect.I never found that to be true in any other game I’ve played that has one.In fact in other games i made many friends doing this.

The game is barely out and finding groups can sometimes take 2 hours already.No one really seems interested in sitting at the gate hoping someone will come along and accept their request to group up.I know i don’t want to do that.

At least a queue option would allow you to continue to explore and do other things while you wait.It should at least be an option i think for those who want it.

The game isn’t designed to be like WOW or D2.They were very clear about that before the game was released.There would be no raids or gear progression to God Form.If that was what you were looking for then you should have gotten a different game.

I find that those complaining about “end game” content have offered little on what they think it should be other than well, gear progression and raids. Those are going to be off the table no matter what so why not come up with other useful suggestions.

Personally i enjoy getting map completion and craft mastery.I love the personal story content you don’t get in other games.I also enjoy fighting,and i am sure that more areas and content will open up in expansions.You just need to give it some time.I feel its a bit odd to expect top of the line end game content from a game that is only a month or so old now.

I do not believe they honestly thought people would take the WOW view and level grind to top level in a week.I don’t even want to think of how much time was spent doing that.I play normally 3-5hours week days and 5-7 hours weekends and I’m just getting to about level 75.

To be fair the WvW seems more end game to me if you enjoy raiding and such.I actually really enjoy WvW even though I’m not very good at it yet.

ok,I am gay.I haven’t esp. noticed any gay couples.I think OP is over reacting.If it been a straight couple you’d not even bat an eye at it.So sorry there happens to be gay and straight in the races.Big bloody deal.You took notice of the homosexual relationships and suddenly its throw in your face.Nothing is being forced.If i said straight humans were being forced on me you’d have a fit wouldn’t you?Its simply something you don’t consider the norm and it bothers you.It seems to me its another “oh no its GAY being betrayed as normal” and you can’t handle it.

On another note, Sylvari don’t honestly have a gender.They are plant people…from a tree.

I love my ele.She can be a pain but still, great fun.I generally run vitality and toughness with my gear.That seems to have worked for my play style.Trait wise I’m trying to push power and arcane,with 10 points in water and earth.That way i can deal decent damage and switch faster for combos with a bit extra health and toughness.

I’m only level 41 so far but i really enjoy it so we’ll see if this build works out.If i end up hating i can reroll no big deal.

I do think Meteor Shower is one of the better AOE spells,for the staff.I mainly use a staff,i just like being able to attack from afar.I am thinking I might do my damage with daggers though.Will have to try that out.

I haven’t really had issues in Dungeons yet.Normally i live while the others drop dead around me.Though i think that’s mostly because i know when to run away and recover.I do support with my water skills but they aren’t enough to save a group who wont back off.

All that said i don’t think there is any reason to discourage others from playing the class.If it didn’t work for you then great,but let others decide for themselves.Also, i haven’t had an issue getting into a group for dungeons or WvW or really PVP.(though i did suck with my ele in pvp)
