Guild Wars 2

I prefer a pretty action dps role but nothing like a thief. Something that does some hard hitting damage good for both pve and pvp. If its a caster or a melee I don’t mind I just want a pretty good role to play. I liked the sound of necro because it sounded like it could heal itself when killing foes and be a sort of-tankish role which sounded pretty cool.

I know that warrior and guardian do some good damage but they seem to be a less skillful and fun choice to pick.

I’m currently downloading guild wars 2 right now and I realized I have no Idea what class I want to be. Since there isn’t any dedicated healer, dps, or tank really I’m not sure what to choose.

So I want to ask you guys and get your opinions on whats one of the more interesting professions to be in gw2. I’m currently thinking about being a necromancer but I’m still not sure.

I’m in the middle of downloading the game and it’s taking forever. I need to shutoff my computer and take it with me somewhere else, is it ok if I stop the download. If I do that next time I open it will it start from where I was last?

Im at 35% and it took a day to get there. Please help.
