Ofc the more the better, but i was wondering if there is some discrete difference or if someone noticed something.

Example: a certain MMO in a low fantasy environment use exactly 520MB of GPU RAM, no matter if the GPU RAM available is 1GB or 2GB or more. So i can say that 512 is exactly not enough and 1GB is enough.

i’ve to choose between a macbook pro with the nvidia 650GT 512MB or the same but with 1GB

do anyone have experience in both memory size, even with different GPU, that can tell if 512MB is enough or is hurting itself the game experience?

let me add that i don’t feel comfortable at all using the admin privileges for installing a game. What is this for?
