Yes I wanted to take the time to show my appreciation to Anet too. I am impressed with the afro texture, it actually looks real! it’s not an ugly blob like in sims 4 lol. Also I guess I’m one of the few people that find most of the faces are nice and attractive, it looks really good on medium to dark skinned humans. I really love the majority of the faces and hairs, thanks Anet for adding some more variety and diversity!<3 I’d also be happy if they added even more ethnic faces from different parts of the world, I’m always up for more variety in games.

For runes I can’t decide between scholar and wurm. Having more health is probably better in the long run for dungeons right? or does the wurm runes bring the damage down too much? I don’t want to be the first to die in the group but at the same time I want to do massive damage. Tell me if you think the wurm runes are good or not. Thanks

I hope they add more African american, Asian, and Hispanic faces in the future. I love lots of diversity in games. . I would wish for them to add Lupita Nyong’o face, she’s so beautiful and for the males add sexy Idris Elba.

P.S. Please add more curly hair options, I don’t want to give my character a afro and I don’t want to give her straight hair.

I need help. Can someone tell me if my build is good for (pug) dungeons. My skill level is average (or medium). I want to bring major damage to the group but at the same time I don’t want to die in one hit. I haven’t done any dungeons yet with my thief because I want to be prepared before going in. Some tips, criticism and changes is welcomed.

Well, if you want to tank I can’t stop you, but the key to surviving as a thief is to use your many evades.

Other than that, I’m unable to provide any feedback since I run glass cannon myself.

I didn’t think my build was tanky lol. I just wanted to utilize the healing abilities (XIII, XI, or Signet of Malice) that thief has but still be able to do as much dmg as possible.
Can you recommend an alternative build for me maybe, you said surviving as a thief involves evades, what build focuses on that? I’m willing to take suggestions here. Thank you

Aphrodesiac showed me how to do it with d/d. I got it now, just need practice.

Four things come to mind that you could have made a mistake on:

Dragon Fang bugging and not actually dropping in Ring of Fire.
Phoenix not being inside Ring of Fire or also cancelling the skill.
Cancelling Arcane Brilliance.
Cancelling Earthquake.

I added you, I’m not very good at following instructions so don’t be surprised if I still don’t get it.

It’s not hard really. For S/D

Fire 2 -> Fire 4 -> Fire 3 -> Arcane Brilliance (while using this, swap to earth attunement) -> Arcane blast -> Earth 4 -> Earth 5.

It’s not perfect at all but just practice it and it’ll become easy. Hell, you won’t even have to use S/D after you stack if you prefer other weapons. After watching DEKeys’ vids, I’ve gotten into the habit of stack with s/d then switching to my staff because I just love using staff over any other weapons.

I followed that rotation and it gave me 9 stacks, is that right?

So I’ve been experimenting and I’m starting to get the hang of it. I haven’t made it to 25 stacks with staff only 6 but at least I’m getting somewhere Later on I’ll probably buy a Scepter to get to 25.

This is the rotation I used for staff to get 6 Might Stacks:
Fire: Lava Font(2), Arcane Wave, Burning Retreat(4), Switch to Earth: Eruption(2)

I’m gonna experiment some more.

This is confusing… I don’t think I’ll bother with might stacking anymore, whenever I try it, it dosent work.
and I don’t want to use lightning hammer.

I guess I’ll just stick with casual groups

I’ve been hearing people say that they get annoyed if the elementalist in their group doesn’t know how to stack might, can someone tell me how it’s done so I can be helpful to my group in dungeons.
