I am having trouble completing the Cleaning up the Neighborhood and Speedy Reader achievements in Fields of Ruin. I think I’m in the right place to complete both of these, but I am not getting any credit when I tear down the posters or read the books. Unless I’m in the wrong area, I think it’s bugged. Is anyone else having this problem?

It would be nice to have a dev answer this because, while I really enjoyed the last few events, I feel like it’s so many events put together and I’d like to enjoy this one instead of just pound through it in 2 weeks.

One of the ranger skills, the one that summons the tree that revives people? Under water its a whale.

yeah and it heals conditions and revives downed allies. somewhat useful. it’s nice that the bad guys attack it before me. Sometimes I use it as a decoy lol.

The whales died off during the Lost Shores event.
They washed up on the beaches in Lions Arch and you could throw buckets of water on them, but I’m assuming they died

It was probably hiding in the seaweed.

Depends on if it is Darby or Sasha. Darby hides in the seaweed, and Sasha only comes out at night. You can tell which whale is which, by the fact that Darby has a soulless vacant stare, while Sasha winks once every 42 minutes.

I don’t know if you guys know this or not but in one of the maps you can actually fight and kill a Humpback whale. I don’t recall if it was named a “veteran” but it sure had the HP of one.

Yeah I found that one too. I think it was hard to kill so it may have been a vet. Cool, but I still like the one in LA.

I know I’m just being silly, but I really like visiting the humpback whale in Lion’s arch; however, when I went to look for it yesterday it wasn’t there! Did it get taken out?

This “Invincible” idea needs to STOP. There are wurms that can kill me in one hit in the gear collecting event on the new island, but when I try to kill them they are invincible. Also, bringing the karka out of the area they were in makes them invincible and when I’m downed I can’t do anything. It is not fair or fun that they can kill me but I can’t kill them. This applies to all creatures, not just the ones in the event. Oh and I’m a ranger. I should be able to snipe, but because of this invincibility thing unless i’m on the same level ground as them i can’t shoot them. rangers snipe… we shouldn’t have to be on even ground…
