Guild Wars 2

My son and I just returned for the expansion and would like to experience some of the end-game stuff. We’re both experienced raiders from other games, though we’ve never done any raiding in GW2. We’re looking for a guild that doesn’t mind teaching folks the raids and is patient, casual, and fun-loving. I’m old, and not even remotely hardcore.

We were in COSA for a long time, but I can’t find them now.

Any suggestions? We have 80s in every class and are grinding through the horrible zones in HoT to finish the story. We have multiple Ascended pieces, but no legendaries. We know our classes well and, as I said above, have raided in many MMOs.

Please let me know.

Update for me, now I’m 100% everywhere (map, medal, login screen), still no chest, still no reward/gifts, still no star. I have the title now as well, but nothing else.

On a lark, I logged in/out of the Chantry, because that’s what everyone seems to suggest…no change.

Still not fixed for me. Map shows 100% completion. Achievements show “Completed” for all 5 continents. Medal shows 97% (98% in the bottom left corner), so logged out and back in (totally exited client), medal shows 100%. Everything shows 100%.

No title, no chest, no star, no rewards. Spent 20s bouncing around (yes, went to the Chantry), no progress. Saw that I had mail, thought maybe it was in there…nope, just filled with gold farmers that I can’t report for spamming me.

Oh well, back to Torchlight.

My son has a star by his name, we did all the exploration together. He got the reward, the title, the start, the chest, etc. I did not, doing the exact same steps.

OK, update for me…I am 100% map completion, AND I am 100% for all of the explorations (all puzzles, all zones, but not instances). I STILL have no titles, no rewards, no chest, no star, nothing. Character selection still shows me 97%, though I’m 175, 60, 165, 172, and 175, all of which show Completed, 510 exploration achievement points.

I don’t have a legendary and haven’t completed any dungeons, because the loot is garbage and they’re a waste of time. That, and I STILL can not get into the Crucible.

If you need me, I’ll be playing Borderlands 2 and Torchlight 2.

Just an update, still 100% map, still no star/chest/title. I’m close on the explorer achievements so will go knock them out, maybe one of those discoveries will push me over.

I’m still at 100% but no chest, no title, no star, no rewards. No change for me, still bugged. I logged out in the darn Chantry because I’m tired of people telling me to go there. This makes 4 things that are bugged are broken that I want to do, and I’m getting tired of the bugs.

I’m having the Map Completion bug. I’m 100% map completion on the map but no chest, no rewards, no title, no star, no recognition of completing it apart from the 100%. I’m only 97% complete on the character select for the “been there done that” achievement, though I’ve been everywhere I could find and several places I couldn’t.

If you didn’t get gift of exploration and you are at 100% -> go to hom and chantry of secretes.

For the 7th time, went to the Chantry, no change. Thanks for reading the thread before making a suggestion

It’s the last dungeon for me, and we can’t get in. We show up, all 5 of us, at the portal, we all go in…and we’re all solo, even though we started out front together and 1 went in alone, then we followed their prompt. We zone out, try again, and after that one solo attempt, we are no longer able to enter at all.

Zone out/in, log out/in, break the party and reform, we are no longer able to get in at all. I’ve encountered this with 3 different groups, me and 12 other folks, always behaves this way.

Went to the Chantry for the 6th time…nothing. I’ve explored Arah, and all of the instances but one, the Explorer achievement does not change as I find the areas. I am still bugged.

I’m still 100%, but no title, star, or reward, no recognition I got it.

Oh, and for the guy above asking for numbers: 173, 59, 165, 170, 178.

Did these threads get merged? I used to have 3 threads, now they’re all the same thread. Still no update from AN, though?

I went to the Chantry, for the 4th time. Walked in, got a note that I’d completed the Chantry of Whispers (no loot, 1/1 PoI), but didn’t get the world completion notification. Still 100% on my map.

At least you got something. I’m 100% and got nothing, not even the title and the star.

I’m having this same issue. 100% map completion, no title, no reward. All poi/vista/etc, 100%. All jumping puzzles.

I tried going to the Whispers, but I’d already been there, twice (story and just stumbled on it), no good.
I went to Lion’s Arch and portaled in and out of the place, no good.

This is very frustrating. One data point, my last points were in the W3 maps (green borderland). I hope this helps, I’d like to get the title and star.
