Just ran this mission again and the bug is still there
Got to the end and the npc’s just stand there doing nothing. Talking to them does nothing. Leaving them there for a while and still nothing.

Having the very same problem. Nothing has changed on my end. Only started happening with the update yesterday.
Same thing just happened to me today. First run got nothing from the chest. Second run I got the 3 presents.
