Guild Wars 2

I recently change my build to S/D because I got bored of my dual dagger build (Back Stab build, focus in stealth) and I have to say its really fun even though I don’t use stealth at all, I can counter bunker builds since I can steal their boons and in PVP it really helps ure party to support it this way.
FS is a great skill as it is now, don’t change anything.

I think it all depends on the build, I use to be a D/P with 0/20/30/20/0 and I had no problem.

I find it really usefull for 1 vs 1 combat and if u combine it with lyssa gear u get tons of buffs every 45 secs.

You know we can also complain how weak we are so u can get our hp low in secs and that we cant kill u and we end up running away always….. but that’s not the point right? (theres a reason why u end up with 75% hp while the thief 10% hp)

Please don’t forget to complain about Dual Daggers eles and 100 blades from warriors.

dude I think u got something wrong here… we are THIEVES not guardians (tanks) or rangers (range dps) we are suppose to be slippery and squishy.

Im just tired how people keep attacking us in the forum and because of it we had so many nerfs (some for the sake of balance some not).

I bet most of the attacks comes from new players because an experienced player can kill is not like we are gods or something (I been killed so many times).

u don’t see us complaining about other classes but if we do u wouldn’t like if ure class getting nerf right? I think its time to go into another class section and complain like they do so they get nerf.

come one!!! its because we our thieves…. u don’t expect a guardian not to be tanky or a warrior not to be tanky/dps right? same thing with thieves. This class is made to be slippery that’s why we are so squishy.

And for BS well u just have to keep ure distance man, we only remain in stealth 2secs so if we miss a BS we don’t usually have the opportunity to BS again unless we go into stealth.

Now that I think about it u are right, so you would recommend changing “cloaked in shadow” to “Shadows embrance” or going back to “hide in shadows”?

First of all I wanna apologize for my English (not my native language), well after we got nerf our whole attack rotation got messed up so I decided to change for a more defensive build. This build is still focus in stealth and backstab but it has more survavility, with a good offensive gear you can still keep a decent dps.

My new rotation:
Black powder + heart seeker (stealth) +BS + one full auto attack rotation + dodge back (get might) and star over.
I change “hide in shadows” to “withdraw” since we cant stealth so often now.

Btw im no pro so im would like to get some feedback from this build.

thnxs for the post, as for my opinión if Arenanet wanted to nerf us they should of decrease the dmg of our auto attack or our precisión i dont know but now its imposible for me to play (stealth build: faster in stealth, heal in stealth, gain initiative in stealth, etc….).

This just sucks….

Please tell me the PROS and CONS of each and which traits are better.
