No, and you are more likely to screw up the raid by drawing aggro depending on your tanks gear, assuming your playing a damage build
It was already a problem in dungeons with people that had high enough level for the story instance could join explorer dungeons where they didn’t belong.
If they removed it from fractals you would keep getting random people with no agony resistance whatsoever joining your party.

Wasn’t one of their arguments for keeping level cap at level 80 also that they wanted people to still do the old content and dungeons?
And what do you know, literally no one does dungeons now after destroying the rewards.
I’ve enjoyed dungeons for a long time and i was looking forward to doing them again with elite specializations and revenant but no one really wanna do them now.
And raids better be fun to repeat otherwise I’m gonna run out of things to do in this game really quickly.

If you need more quickness/blocks you can take shield. If you don’t need reflects you can take Well of Calamity. If you want more team survivability you could take Well of Precognition. If your phantasms are dying in melee range you could take pistol. If you need more condition removal you can take Mantra of Resolve.
