Confessor's Stronghold Story Instance

In the Confessor’s Stronghold Story Instance, I am unable to drain and break one of the Bloodstones whilst fighting the second Veteran Bloodstone Elemental Mauler. This means I am unable to take down the shield and I cannot continue with the story.

I’ve attempted the instance twice now, hoping it was just a one time glitch. However, I’ve come to realise it isn’t, and that it puts the entire story to a standstill. The bloodstone continues to respawn on an endless cycle despite the player character consistently draining it.

That’s somewhat ridiculous. Surely if we wanted to progress more than twice in one day (Especially if we didn’t have as much time in another) we should be able to do so.

I had this same thing yesterday, I just logged on today and I’ve found that the Trading Post isn’t working at all anymore. I’d do what you need to do now before it stops again

Try relaunching the game a few times, that usually gets the TP and gem store going for me. Works for now while anet works on a more real fix.

Oh thank you, I relaunched it two times and on the third it worked haha

Ok spoke too soon.

Last time i checked, few hours ago now, TP worked gem store loaded, but could not buy gems.

Clicking on the button did nothing … as in it is completely non-responsive, not even spinning wheel.

I had this same thing yesterday, I just logged on today and I’ve found that the Trading Post isn’t working at all anymore. I’d do what you need to do now before it stops again

Hello everyone I’m not exactly sure what’s going on here but I know this has occurred more than once since the patch launched. Every time this occurs I have to restart my entire Mac just reopen Guild Wars 2 once again. I don’t know whether this is something wrong on my end or from the game itself but I thought I’d draw attention to it incase I’m not alone.

…I’m getting really tired of not being able to use rudimentary functions of the game just because I use a Mac computer. I’m considering quitting… this is ridiculous.

We’re all disappointed, believe me I know how you feel. However at the end of the day just be grateful that we actually have the game running on Mac computers in the first place. Sure it’s quite buggy but they are trying to make it work for us. Other developers for other games may not have even attempted to expand their game to Mac computers, so the fact that ArenaNet are still trying to work with Macs despite all of these complaints and bugs I’m actually rather thankful for. I know it’s frustrating but once they get the fix it will be fixed, hopefully for good.

We have identified and resolved the certificate issue that was preventing the Black Lion Trading Company from loading in the Mac Beta client. The certificate was reissued by our data asset manager as part of the Heartbleed bug prevention. ArenaNet, LLC was not infected by Heartbleed and your information remains secure.

For some players, the BLTC is still not performing consistently.. While we are tracking on this issue, unfortunately we are not able to provide a timeframe for when it will be resolved.

We have made this patch to GW2 Mac Live and have removed the workaround previously mentioned.

The BLTC isn’t working at all, nothing has particularly progressed for myself since the patch went live. I hope that we’ll be able to see a fix this week. Understandably it will take time to repair but two weeks of waiting slowly becomes a nuisance. Even still thank you for the support you’ve been giving us. I just can’t really buy anything or get any of the special sales and I feel really left out haha.

Before reading about the workaround, I removed the game and reinstalled. Everything is working for me now.

It might just be fixed cause it started to work for me when i checked 2 hours ago and i didnt do anything at all

It’s definitely not fixed but you did get me excited enough to jump into game and check

I’m really surprised this hasn’t been fixed yet. I’ve tried to do all of these other options but none have proved to be a success. I really hope this is fixed by tomorrow as this is beyond ridiculous and very concerning.

It’s well past midnight, I am aware that others are suffering worse time differences than myself but this wait is a joke. I understand it’s a big issue and that I have completely no understanding of the gruelling process it must be to correct this, but I hate to admit I’m becoming really impatient. I hope you guys can fix it soon and I’m sorry for just adding to the ongoing lists of complaints but this is somewhat ridiculous.

Hey there, at this point, the current issue is a problem with the game code; the developers are working on a fix that they will push out automatically when it’s ready for release. No need to do anything at this point.

Being really new to macs I’m currently extremely confused as to what on earth is going on. I appreciate it is being fixed but I refresh this page often to see if there is a bug fix and people are talking about backing things up and whatnot, I honestly have no idea what’s going on haha. If there is anything I need to be doing for my mac could you guys fill me in?

I’ve literally tried all of the suggested solutions. Nothing has worked. I was going to change my language to French but that would require re-downloading the whole game apparently. Really hope someone can figure out what’s going on . . .

I know how you feel, not one suggestion has even fixed the blank Trading Post once for me. It’s ridiculous! I’m sitting here hearing about new Gem store items and sales when I can’t even load it up. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible. I’m sick and tired of trying to understand all of these mac features in hopes of accessing something that’s supposed to be always available in game to all players. I really hope they fix this problem during or before the April Update.

Ok, so me and my friends have been doing this jumping puzzle for 2 and a half hours…yes, 2 and a half hours on 1 stupid jumping puzzle. So my question is, why do people gain the pleasure of killing other players that are trying to complete this puzzle when you like 5 minutes away from completion? As I am typing, we are currently lay dead on the floor and we are about 5 minutes away from completing it. I honestly haven’t felt so much rage in my life, and I get easily frustrated playing games such as Call of Duty and Fifa. I honestly felt like I was going to burst a blood vessel. I understand that this is meant to be competitive as it is on WvW but seriously? 5 minutes away from completion.

To make matters even worse, we have waited here for about 10 minutes for somebody to revive us only to be meeted with the message “If you do not resume play, you will be kicked in 50 seconds”

Before anybody goes “why did you try to complete the puzzle when its took you over 2 hours to complete it? you are obviously not capable of doing it” well the answer to that is that we had fun avoiding the enemy team while trying to complete it (at the beggining), its the fact that the enemy decided to kill us when we are very near completion that annoys us the most.

And if you are the type of person that kills people on this specific jumping puzzle (while trying to complete it for yourself) , I have a very deep passion of hatred stored inside of me specifically for you.

Oh my god I know what your saying. I just spent the last three hours with my friend trying to make it threw this exact same dungeon when some irritating guild awaited me and my friend at the end to greet any players and kill them with their numbers before we reach the ending platform. In fact at one point I was reviving this friend of mine and an invader used the Guardian move to pull me off of a high ledge and onto the bottom floor in which they all teamed up to defeat me and left me with an immense amount of hate for each and every one of them.

I don’t know why people can even find the slightest pleasure in this as I honestly could not stop swearing over the matter in reality. If a guild wants to fight, why dont they head out to the area’s made for fighting? you know making themselves useful by capturing Keeps and whatnot? Sitting in a jumping puzzle killing people, just because they clearly cannot handle to fighting outside of the puzzle is pathetic.

I don’t really care what any others may respond to this post as honestly I know I am right and what this is, is an issue that should definitely be addressed. I personally did not find any of this funny and in fact I have never been so angry. Plus I have had a headache for the last few hours though considering how far I had actually got into the puzzle I decided to finish it and then call it a night. Thanks to the invading Guilds, that was not possible.
