Let’s face the facts. As a guardian you can attempt to jump in large scale fights and swing a great sword around for a few seconds….or you can be an asset to your team. Unfortunately for us guardians the most effective way to be an asset is to simply use more protection based abilities as well as healing abilities. Ex: Wall of reflection, Line of warding, Empower etc…However the main issue is you get no tags for healing your teammates…your reflection will maybe get you a tag 1 out of every 15 large scale engagements. Your staff range is far too short to get you tags most of the time. If i heal another player i dont get a tag nor experience for any target he kills…when in reality he may have died if i didnt heal him. You designed us to be a protective / support role mainly in large scale combat (at least in wvw) however we have no reason to want to do this. On a personal level it purely hurts us. We miss out on loot experience and without any real rewards it can feel like were relatively useless. Hopefully anet will respond to this as im curious if they have recognized this at all…
