Please give us Lion’s Arch back. Pretty please with a cherry on top.

I haven’t played the game much since the demise of Scarlet. I have logged on in Lion’s Arch a couple of times, felt kinda hopeless really, my favourite place in the game has gone. Tried working on a couple of my alts but it was hard to raise the enthusiasm. Please give us some reasons to be cheerful.

I cannot complete the living story until I have collected 12 dead drops, and all of those in wayfarer foothills have apparently vanished. is this a bug? the rest of my guild have their gauntlets and I cant get mine! all that hard work for nothing.

installed the authenticator app on my phone, set it up, linked to account, no problem with any of that. Now I can log in to the game, and onto this site, without being asked to enter any code from the app? so what is the point of the authenticator? I was hoping it would give me peace of mind since I got hacked within the first week of the game’s launch, but nuuu, it just doesnt seem to work, at all. So I think I will unlink and uninstall. Unless there is something else I should do to get it to work?

I am actually quite angry now, Anet, when I read that some people are now receiving a 2nd chest, or they have one and they didnt even take part in the event, if these posts are true, tell me how is this fair, and what planet are you on?? How dare you tell me that I dont meet the criteria, and then give chests out to these people. Seriously, Anet…

I am not sure on what criteria the redistribution of rewards for this event was decided. I was cheated out of my loot on the day and submitted a ticket. Now I have an email telling me that if I havent received the items by now, I didnt meet the criteria. So what exactly would those criteria be? I spent hours on this event. It was long. it was difficult. It wasnt fun. It was expensive in terms of high repair bills and hardly any loot from anything I killed. I missed the loot chest because I got killed on the spiral ramp by the hordes of little spiders during the final stages. It took so long to fight my way back from the waypoint through the respawns, and the chest was there for such a brief time, just as I ran up to the spot it had disappeared. Do you really think I would have submitted a ticket on this for no reason. Still I have not had any reward for this event. This is very disappointing, and I will most likely keep well away from any similar event in the future. I have no confidence whatsoever that taking part would be worth the effort and frustration.

you mean to tell me that players on the free trial got loot for this event while others got nothing? how is this fair? and why would anyone have even thought of staging this event during the same weekend as the free trial anyway.

with the game as a whole, I’m happy. Or at least I was before today.

with the lost shores non event of the year and no loot forthcoming after hours of work, I am unbelievably angry . I missed out on the chest due to the stupidly long hike back from the waypoint after being killed during the last bit.

I hope, but not with any conviction, Arena net are going to help those of us who lost our rewards for this event which was over long, difficult, tedious and repetitive at times, expensive in repair bills and incredibly frustrating.

there is no way on this earth I want to do this event again, I already spent hours on it and got no reward, why would I want to put myself through all that again.

I have seen the announcement from the devs that they are looking into the issues of players not getting loot due to disconnecting. What about those of us who missed out because we got killed, and were trying to run back from the waypoint, which was next to impossible with all the respawns etc, and the chest disappeared by the time I got to it. Why didnt they put a waypoint in the boss cave so we could get back easier for the chest. Nowhere near enough waypoints in the zone. Cost me a fortune in repairs and paying to rez at the start point, and I got no reward whatsoever, then I had to endure all my friends bragging about the loot they received. Seriously, can’t it be done better than this? Hours of effort and then nothing at the end of it. It is extremely frustrating, and I will not take part in future events like this one if they cant do any better, its just not worth it.
