Of course there will be new map events. Tell me a map in GW that doesnt have one???
And one of the new things are “Hunts” where you will hunt open world bosses for rewards.

Almost all the vanilla maps? Yes, most have a major boss, with a quest chain. But that is just a few small events, that go into a semi-large event for a boss battle. Cool yes, but it is hardly map wide. Just a larger than normal event.

The hunts, depending on how they are done, could be really fun. I wish we got more info on that (I haven’t seen any at least?). If it’s just heres a big bad boss, go kill it, meh, we have those already.

I think the hunts could be really interesting if they’re not just implemented as “daily boss slayer” achievements or if they offered some unique rewards you couldn’t get elsewhere. I’m hoping they’ll also get added as guild missions, too, as I’d find them more interesting than bounties.

It makes a lot of sense to promote and put human hairstyles in place right now, mostly because the region we are going is heavily inspired by Africa/Egypt/Middle Eastern environments and culture. In addition, at least in GW1, humans there were a dominant race. I can understand them wanting to generate some early hype about returning to Elona with the ability to update a human character with more Elonan features before playing the expansion. This isn’t to say that new cosmetic features won’t be implemented for other races either sometime before the expansion is released or with additional game updates in the future.

We will be able to play a community preview and test these specs next weekend. You’ll likely be able to see the numbers then.

Could only find these few for now, but I have many others. I made my charr necromancer and my girlfriend’s sylvari guardian with our guild emblem (PKMN). The photos were taken on Belle Isle, Detroit, which is kind of like a mini Lion’s Arch.
