Dungeons where the only thing I like doing in Guild Wars 2. Now that it has lower rewards its impossible to find people to do them. I spend a lot of money in this game. Now I don’t want to play it anymore. Can you restore the Dungeon rewards, so that I can have fun again? Grouping with people is the fun thing about dungeons, soloing sucks. If I want to solo , I will buy a NON-MMO game.
I do not think you all are getting my point. I understand that rage quitting happens but when it happens like every single day like 3 or 4 times a day, its a little bit more than just a problem. Especially when your whole team quits. Did you even hear what I said about the people leaving the guilds because they hated the new AC. They all went to other games, and that is why I went with some of them to other games. I like challenges but when you have to depend on 4 random people or even people you invite it has nothing to do with just a single person defeating a dungeon, its the whole group that has to be good enough to succeed. If you play AC dungeon and the team gives up before you can finish for 7 days straight than there is something seriously wrong with this dungeon. That is why I think they should lock you in the dungeon so you have no alternative but to finikitten. If this was a dungeon that can be done with just one person, I would have mastered it. I know the dungeon like the back of hand, if there was 4 of me playing the game I would easily succeed because I am really good at mmo’s. Its the fact that my team members can not play good and rage quit 7 days straight that makes AC suck and is why I left. PVE is so boring in Guild wars 2 , the only thing that kept me playing this game was the old AC, now its just plain boring. My blood does boil when playing this game but that is because its so much of waste of time.
Every pug group I played after the new update to AC was full of rage quitters. I like how a lot people say this person is crying about this and that. Seriously when someone states something they do not like , it does not mean they are crying or whatever smart remark, they are just stating what they do not like. I do not like AC dungeon, and a lot of people in my guild that I used to play it with do not like the dungeon. In fact since the new update to the AC dungeon, 20 to 30 people in my guilds have quit cause now all there teams are filled with rage quitters. It was 7 days straight of people rage quitting on my team that made me quit the game. I really hope they fix the AC dungeon so that pug groups do not have so many rage quitters. I think they should lock you in the dungeon so that you can not leave the dungeon so have to do the dungeon and they do not waste my time. People that say this dungeon is easy probably has a group of people that are very skilled in this dungeon because its far from easy with a team of random people that are either lower than 80 or never been in a dungeon before, or just are not good at dungeons. When your whole team rage quits like 3 times in a row in day that is like the biggest let down and makes it totally just a waste of time.
This game has to many people that ragequit in AC . I like how someone said I had tough luck in AC dungeon when luck is something of 50/50 chance this situation happened like 7 days in row more than 50/50 chance. This is where the entire group or certain members ragequited before I could finish the dungeon. I had to reinvite new people or just waste my time when my entire team quit. I think if anet wants to make this dungeon harder so people will ragequit, they should at least make it so you have to finish the dungeon and you can not leave so they do not waste my time. Like a lock or something intill you finish the dungeon so I do not after worry about finding new members or wasting time when team members or whole groups decides to quit the dungeon. I think they should lower difficulty by nerfing mobs or something so people do not ragequit and waste like 3 to 4 hours of my time. Honestly this dungeon was fine the way it used to be before the update and this was the only thing I liked about the game, but now since AC is dying , there is nothing else really fun to play in the game.
I think AC is dying cause now its harder to find a pug group or a guild group especially at low levels. There has been a ton of ragequiting in AC since the revamping in the update. Most pug teams that I do AC dungeon with are filled with ragequiters so you have to find new players in order to finish the dungeon even if your at the very end of the dungeon against the final boss. Sometimes the whole team leaves the AC dungeon cause of the death count and repair bill which makes me have to find people to join before the dungeon resets. If this was a solo dungeon I would easily finish it myself but it involves teamates which you have to depend on other people in order to finish it. Doing the AC dungeon at lower levels is ragequiter heaven. I think they need to lower the difficulty or find a way to make people not ragequit so much in this dungeon.
There was no good changes in this update that I can see. I really think you should read what I am saying and stop ignoring it. Do you really want people happy with nerfs. You should just nerf everything so no wants to play this game. I still hate playing this game cause AC was destroyed because of large amount of ragequiting. If they wanted to make the AC dungeon harder they succeeded cause now alot of people ragequit before you can finish dungeon. Ragequiting makes it harder to succeed in AC. My guilds will not run AC anymore. Alot of people in my guild left this game cause of the AC changes. I would not mind the AC changes as long as it wasnt so hard that my group members do not ragequit before I can complete it. Maybe you guys can make this a solo dungeon so I do not have depend on other people to finish it,but that probably would get boring being in a dungeon by yourself all the time.
I have to laugh at kelly’s comments cause these forums are to express what we don’t like about this dungeon update or what we like about the dungeon update which does not mean we are QQing anything. Seriously that was not needed as a response to what anybody said about this dungeon. I think the worst thing that could happen is people quit this game cause of the bad changes to their favorite dungeons. I have not wanted to play this game cause of the bad changes to ascalon catacombs which before the update I like doing this dungeon alot but since all the ragequiters from the new update I do not like playing it anymore cause of the ragequiters .
I wonder why people are saying they like diffculty increase ascalon catacombs dungeon updates when it is terrible. Almost every group I have been in ascalon catacombs has ragequiters and leavers before you get to finish the fight. Are you guys saying you like people quitting the dungeons cause they die so much? You guys must understand that this is the very first dungeon in the game and its a level 35 dungeon. This was not just a dungeon to be done by level 80’s with full exotic gear or just guild members that are willing to stay to the end of the dungeon even if they die alot.
I finished ac path 1 and 2 ,and both have serious issues.
Path 1 boss has alot of adds and if you dont stay near the fire or near wall of dungeon further from the hill , you get wiped by all the mobs.
Path2 boss gets stuck and sometimes does not even move to the circle for a long time while he throws his circles of doom your group get wiped out
Another problem is the changes to spiderhatchlings which now have more health which makes them tanky when you trying to kill the spider queen. They can almost instant kill some of the team members if you pull them and the spiderqueen out at the same time before you kill most of spiderhatchlings . The other changes to the spiderqueen are weird cause now you have aoe web which makes melee impossible to do and combine that up with poison it can kill your team fast. Most pug groups have people die so fast on the spider queen that they have ragequiter before they get to the next part. I had a group that went to the end of path 1and 2 but they left cause one person rage quited. I have not done part 3 but that is because now its harder to find people to do it. The dungeon needs to be changed again with changes that let 35 level people able to succeed. If you want this dungeon to be for just guild members or level 80’s group than change it to a guild dungeon or 80’s dungeon.
I did not like the updates for ascalon catacombs because they make the dungeon almost impossible to succeed and finish the dungeons. The first thing about the dungeon I did not like is the white web that the queen spider shoots out it does alot of dps and with poison and immoblize is almost is a kill shot for melee or people standing in range. I think they should go back to the way the spider was which already was hard to kill but did not make people ragequit cause the group could not kill it or the group would not change to melee in order to avoid the one shot kill from spider queen. I also did not like the changes to kohler and troll which now make it almost impossible to kill these monsters and alot of parties ragequit cause they could not kill the boss. I did not like the changes to the hacthlings and spiderlings which have more health or defense now and makes them real hard to kill and there poison and bleed attacks are devasting especially when they have so many alive with mounds and when the spiderqueen spawn. I have only done path 1 since path 2 and path 3 people ragequit before you even get to the boss. I have had more people quit and leave group before you even get to the bosses which make the dungeon not fun and makes me get upset. I did not think ascalon catacombs needed to be fixed or increased in difficulty, and I think it should be changed back or lesson the degree of difficulty of the new mob changes.
