with my 5-7 year old pc my frame rate varies way to much that i have resorted to limiting it to 30fps which is fine, never going under that unless i am near alot of people or in a big event then i will go down to 20 and under. Can’t wait till the end of the year when i get me a new pc, getting tired of this old set up.

As long as you have at least 5mb/s download about (500kb/s) you won’t notice any lag from your end. There are no aussie servers ao the usual ping should be around 250 which is fine for mmorpgs

Not sure if youre even on this thread any more op. But yesterday some guy killed me and spammed /laugh emote. On map chat in game i called him out and said that its sad to see that the pvp community has gotten so toxic. Immediately 3 people whispered to apologize for the guys behaviour and offered to play a few healthy games with me afterwards. Good people are still there but the mature ones are also usually the quiet ones.

taunting via emotes i have no issue with. Hearing that his team members apologize for his actions after you called him out is great to hear. My issue is with what they say (type) to others playing the game, the most toxic players seem to reside in the lobby, actual matches from my experinance has been rather quiet.

As someone who treats games as a sort of retreat from the real world, whether or not I am First or Last I will always have a good time, interacting positively to both winners and losers. But seeing people be such bad sports harms this section of the game, reporting and blocking will help but come another day, there will be more.

So I have been playing mostly PVE since launch and have decided to invest my time in PVP, and this game has an awesome PVP with a large player base partaking in it but i can’t help but notice how rude people are in the lobby, is this common or did i just start on a wrong day because i have not witnessed this amount of rudeness in my time in PVE.

My love for guild wars 1 and my need for a new mmo. Once i played Guild Wars 2 for the first time (launch) i have been finding it very difficult to play other mmos

This must be a destructed topic on the forms, but i wouldn’t know as i do not go on the forms but my suggestion is, an event tracker that tells you that an event has begun, such as the events that lead to major ones (dragons) an indicator on the map should highlight the area of the event.
This idea came to mind after playing defiance, in defiance when ever there is an arkfall happening it will show you where it is happening on the map, i would love this to happen in gw2 it should get rid of some of the event campers
