Guild Wars 2

Wondering what you guys thought was the ‘best’ ranged class obviously there is not just one, but what you thought had the better mix being able to Compete well in PvE/Dungeons/PvP and WvW.

I always used to play Archers/Mages in most games, but they are a little different here.

I was told that Warriors with a LB are stronger than even a Ranger here so its left me undecided what to actually play.

Don’t get me Wrong I love the fact that you have a Client now for Mac! I can’t wait till it’s polished and running great.

At the moment its just too resource consuming to be able to do any testing with it. I constantly bounce between 4-6 FPS, just frustrating to even walk anyhere let alone test.

Meanwhile I bounce between 20-35 when I’m Boot Camped.

Having a really hard time deciding what class to play and what race. I’ve played both Human/Norn zones from 1-20 over and over again.

I’ve levelled every class to at least 10 already, my highest being 23 as a Guardian.

My guardian is great but idk I’m bored with it atm. I’ve always been more of a fan of Ranged DPS.

I loved being an archer in almost every game except WoW, and for the same reasons I’m hesitant here cause i hate relying on a pet, also why I’m skeptical of a Necro/mesmer but would love others opinions on them.

I prefer dps in the sense of (High Atk.SPD/Medium DMG/Medium-Low Crit) compared to (Low Atk.SPD/High DMG/Medium-High Crit)

Maybe I’m just over thinking it to much.

Any suggestions?! I guess i would possible make another melee but one that actually can do high output without having to throw a Greatsword/Hammer on him they are cool but so slow.
