i have 30mb d/u speeds. other games giving me 100~300ping from malaysia. gw2 1k+ ping. yesterday morning gw2 was fine 200~300 ping

Yes, D*rpy Bearbow think he/she is fully decked out in ascended gear and iirc had legendary. Last time I saw this ranger was in a TTS organized gold boss blitz raid.

You can get that many badges from doing whats basically suppose to be the overflow map? I dont get that amount doing the game mode on the regular maps…

Then again, I guess you guys are karma training it and not bothering to fight unlike the regular maps.

What I’m saying is PvE players will flock EoTM with level 1 characters. Hit level 80 with with enough badges to get ascended gear if they really grinded it out. It’s already bad enough as it is atm with all EoTM pugmanders doing Ktrains, avoiding all zergs and just want to flip stuff instead of focusing PPT. Not saying all commanders do this but most pugmanders do.

You might have to double or tripple everything because of EOTM ktrain you can easily get 5k in a day or 2.

so a full 400g(+200~300g to get 500 crafting for wep and armour) ascended set in 6 days… why would you even craft it any more.

Hmmm, I deleted the local.dat file from the appdata and it seems to launch again. but i have to re do all the settings

After I hit the play button on the login client the game launches in windowed full screen which is what I play on. But 1 second later when the the game fully loads it just minimizes. I added an attachment screen shot to show what it looks like from the task bar when I hover my mouse over the tab. Looks like it some how goes from full screen to 1 pixel in high. When I click on it nothing happens, I dont see the game client. The game seems to be running because the background music plays

I have also tested the -windowed fullscreen and other command lines and it still wont work. At the moment I’m running it though -repair to see if it does anything but I highly doubt it. Hope someone out there had this issue and has found the solution to fix it ^^ ( i have restarted my comp as well ).

I just started playing GW2, the reason why I left my other game was because I was rolling a support class(healer) and guess what… the new meta in dungeons is like GW2. Everyone rolls 5 burst damage classes in a party. No one wants a healer, tank or any kind of support build as it only makes dungeon runs 3x slower.

The only way I could play as a healer was if I played with new players who were inexperienced and always had to PuG. No serious PvE guild will want you as they need more room for DPS classes, you’ll never be able to PuG with experienced players as they always want 5 dps.

So yeah all that’s left for us is PVP… which i got bored of…

If GW2 had a cleirc class I’m sure it would be able to adapt to any meta whether it be condi, burst damage, sustained damage or they actually need a pure support character in the party. Unlike my other game, meta changes to pure dps you’re locked out as a support character.
