Guild Wars 2

Hello everyone,

Not sure if this was the correct place to post this thread but I am hoping for an answer.
I just got my first back item and I noticed it had a “hide/unhide” check box. However no matter whether I had it checked on or off the item would not appear on my characters back. Is there a reason for this? Am I doing something wrong or is this some sort of graphics glitch?
