So uh, can we get a bit more detail about how the rank changes will work? Is it based on total rank points, then recalculating your rank?
What would the current rank 40 change to? Rank 50? Rank 60?

2. JQ has been at the bottom of T1 since launch…that is true and will remain true. A one off of going to first place once in a blue moon does not constitute an average. Overall JQ has the least amount of points, that mean the server is at the bottom of T1.
3. Attack the messenger… great argumentation technique, never done before. Me looking good or bad has zero to do with the comment about the server not being good.
I ll be honest with you, no matter the amount of psychological projection nobody likes JQ…nobody. This dates back from when JQ used to constantly block the Jumping Puzzle back in the days with 10 vs 1 at the entrance. This attracted a lot of people to JQ, people who enjoyed this type of behavior but were not that good in wvw.
From then on they made enemies from acting like kittenbags. Nothing has changed yet and the only thing JQ has left is paying guilds to come to their server so they can say they are T1 material…but they are not and their reputation still follows them.
For a long time JQ had relied on SoR but that changed some time ago when SoR decided to not carry JQ anymore. There is a reason JQ never ever gets the number 1 spot and it should be pretty clear by now.
JQ does not belong in T1…it never did and JQ will always a bad reputation unfortunately

Does anyone else find it interesting that one person decides the matchup? Whoever WAHA hits during SEA time, won’t win. Waha focuses BG = BG lose. WAHA focus SoR = SoR lose.

It always helps the balance of a match when you have the same guild on 2 servers….can you say collusion?…..conflict of interest?? No wonder FA is getting it’s butt kicked.

Well ATM it seems you have your guild on all 3 servers now. I’m not sure what you are trying to accomplish by doing this, but it sure diminishes my opinion of your guild. The latest screen shot was taken just a few minutes ago. The earlier (lower) one was from yesterday. Which server is your “primary” guild on anyway?

Millenium’s tracker is a bit buggy when it comes to camp claiming. It’ll list various guilds as other servers when an objective with a claim is freshly capped by another server.
ATM is a very organized WvW guild and they aren’t the type to use any sort of backhanded tactics.
Sorry guys, we’re gonna have to banish Cuddlestrike from this thread or she’ll end up influencing TC and FA and before you know it, LOVE will have more servers under their control.
This has been going on for a while now. Every week, as some point, the events just stop working. It hasn’t even been 12 hours since the last maintenance patch and there are now 3 temples on Jade Quarry that are stuck in progress and unable to be completed. I’ve guested on several servers to check their progress and some have bugged events too.
For example:
Melandru gets stuck at Gavbeorn’s Landing. Event doesn’t even start.
Dwayna get stuck at “the seal must be broken”, with nothing happening.
Lyssa won’t progress now because the cannon NPCs are unresponsive and don’t repair the Pact Cannon. The Risen won’t even attack them either. See screenshot.
Gates of Arah also gets stuck on some servers, as well as Balthazar at Rally Waypoint.
You realize its pretty easy to make 30 gold in less than a day? Its a pain in the butt, you need 4 other committed people, but its not hard, just a grind.
(Let me be very clear on this next section. Its in reference to a previous BG member, not anything else)
As for Blackgate not deserving to be in tier 1. BG is the only server that has fallen out of Tier 1 and not free falled into obscurity. And we did it twice! We never lost more than a single placement in the rankings and that was during free transfers. Were we ready to be first place Tier 1? No, but we fought for our placement, and earned that placement. When we couldn’t hold it, we dropped back, re-organized, re-armed, shed some of our dead weight and charged right back into Tier 1 again. This is our third run in Tier 1, when no other servers have had a second run.
So, now, we don’t just have the couple of guilds from SoS with Tier 1 experience. We have our entire server with Tier 1 experience. Many of us know that the war isn’t won in the first weekend, or even in the first week. JQ has shown its possible (even before the mass transfers) for one server to maintain a presence in Tier 1 in the long run. I think BG means to follow their example.

You are talking about them being bandwagoners but are failing to remember that they fought BG (post WM and BG has good SEA). They fought SoS when they had good SEA (AFS/MERC etc and now even ND do a really good job). I wouldn’t say these server’s had WM level production in SEA but WM was doing overtime on SBI. But you said that FOO left ET for a Free ride (They fought WM for over a month). Stop changing the subject or trying to shift the focus to a different point. You said FOO came for a free ride when they came here WM was still on SBI and they were extremely dangerous but it’s not FOO’s fault that WM left SBI or that other server’s SEA wasn’t able to stand against them.
Like i said before, any guild that choose to moving to winning team is a bandwagoner in my book. I also say that FOO is good guild, granted they will wipe any average guild without problem (nvm pugs) Point is since WM gone they dont have any serious competition anymore.
So what if some good guild choose to bandwagon? just because someone is bandwagoning thats not mean they are bad and want free ride. Stop being hysterically defensive just because “bandwagon” word. Heck i dare to bet that half of WwW population in T1 is made of bandwagoners, without them you wont have numbers to field your giant blob zerg :P
I think you’re misunderstanding the fact that FOO moved to JQ wayyyy back before we were #1, just before HoD’s downfall, which also happened to be when ET fell too.
So no, we weren’t the “winning team”. They simply wanted a new home to stay in a competitive WvW server at the time.

They were most likely attempting to kitten talk you.
SoR has a problem with some of their players joining your party in order to trash talk you. They’ve got a few bad apples in the bunch, best to accept the invite, and if they are simply doing it to trash talk you, report them for verbal abuse, take down the name/guild, and ask an SoR person about it. Despite the mean things we say about them, im sure most SoR players would want to see that person reined in a little.
Ya next time I will add them to document the kitten talking. That’s too bad if so. I mean WvW is like pre school compared to more hard core pvp games Ive played so I dont get where anyone would want to chest thump over a kill in WvW. I run around solo or in small groups a lot. No one is immune from being defeated in WvW.

No, legendaries will be upgraded to ascended stats once ascended weapons are released. They are best-in-slot because ascended stats will be the best-in-slot. Legendaries are purely cosmetic otherwise.
If you want badges, go kill people. Participate in WvW. It’s really not hard to get them.
Yo, the guy asked for an opinion on server choice. An opinion was given. Let’s leave the tier differences out of this, please. Not everyone shares the same idea of what’s fun for them.
And JQ really can’t say anything about a double team, BGs first week back to T1 was literally Benny Hill ridiculous the way JQ threw everything they had at BG and never touched SoS for at least the first 4-5 days.
See, I am not sure I agree with you here. JQ is full of people that want to crush SoS for whatever reason. Heck, JQ got a large influx of people that transferred there with the sole purpose of crushing SoS.
I cannot imagine them ignoring each other, ever.
Trust me, it happened big time, at least while I was on. On EBG JQ parked itself at Ogres camp the whole week and went for Pang and Ogres relentlessly but you never saw a bit of action Quentin/Klovan way. When BG would go for SM and try and push SoS out and actually do it, JQ was always there for the aftermath. JQ might have went after an SM controlled by SoS maybe once I recall. When it was a BG controlled SM…….JQ had little trouble attacking SM.
And then onto BGBL Garrison until BG finally broke after 3 days of no walls and constant Lord room barrages timed so perfectly only once did SoS and JQ meet outside in the alcove straight out the north door and SoS had siege on the left and JQ on the right. Ask Thai about those battles, but it was the most fun ever in T1 so It didn’t matter and actually made for some great map chat. BG just continued to fight everyone until their outmanned and watch the perfect green and blue line form right down the middle. Ask people from SBI about JQ not attacking SoS and playing for second, I figured they were crazy until I watched it in person. Nothing wrong with it, it appeared as a great strategy for keeping yourself in second for months
The EB situation was simple. Hylek area was essentially what you could compare to a North Korea/South Korea border. Unfortunately Pangloss was just so much easier to hit because of the lack of defenses there. I could probably say the same for SoS hitting Speldan, it’s easier to take than Danelon because we sieged the heck out of that place.
