As a group we are Semi-hardcore with a focus on PvE and some WvW on the side.
We have no infrastructure for hardcore PvPers.
We welcome role-players, but we’re not a rp guild.
Must be willing to represent us on all characters/accounts at all times, no guild hoppers.

The guild name ‘Duality’ is based on the Eastern philosophy (as opposed to the Western philosophy) of dualism. It is the belief that all forces in the world are contrasted and yet balanced: light and dark, active and passive, motion and stillness. Dualism represents the philosophy of balance, where two opposites co-exist rather than oppose each other, and in fact need its opposite half in order to be anchored within reality. Just as there is light without dark, there is no good without evil, no sickness without health.
Duality was founded in Dec. 2010, with the core members together from Nexon’s Vindictus EOB. We have grown since and branched out into other games like GW2. Our members come from various walks of life, with ages ranging from 18-30+yrs. Applicants should be mature, silly people who wish to form friendships that go beyond the game & motivated to be active in our community. Socialness is key with our guild. As we span a few platforms the use of forums and voice chat is an integral way to keep us all together.
We have opened recruitment for our GW2 branch, which at the moment is small due to school/RL schedules. We would love any active, casual, social individuals to join us.
We are a Legit guild. Hackers/botters need not apply, we do background checks.

We have a specific application process, which allows us to hand pick our members that reflect the values that Duality stands for. We do a master application to the guild, as when joining Duality- you join the whole guild not just one game branch.
1) Go to our website.
2) Click the ‘Terms of Service’ at bottom of front page- this takes you to our Charter, Rules, Code of Conduct and site ToS.
3) Read carefully, if you like what you see, continue.
4) Click back and click ‘login’ at the top – this takes you to our forums.
5) Click the ‘Active Applications’ section and read the ‘Application Info’ post.
6) If that doesn’t deter you, go ahead and follow the process as outlined.
7) All new recruits join on a 3-week trail basis with an Evaluation afterwards to determine full status.
