Hey all.

So I have a friend who wants to play the game, and personally I’m interested in pre-ordering Heart of Thorns… I know that the pre-order comes with a copy of the base game, but considering I already own it, would my buying HoT give me no option to gift the base game to this friend? Is there a solution where we both get what we want? I don’t see the option in the store to buy GW2 itself, so I’m not sure what I’d do if this doesn’t work.
